For Street Fighter: The Storytelling Game
Updated the Combat Chart Generator to version 11.
I will update this post when we get more info. Feel free to comment anything I may have missed!
They released a short teaser trailer for Street Fighter 6. It doesn’t really tell us much besides that it includes the worst character and Ryu.
[Read more…]There’s an excellent zine about Street Fighter: The Storytelling Game called Punho do Guerreiro (Warrior’s Fist) which is put together by the amazing Brazilian SF:STG fandom.
But that doesn’t do you much good unles you speak Portuguese…
Well technically until last November, I’m a little late posting about it here.
Richard “Bat” Brewster is translating these into English, and they are amazing! Big thanks to Richard and the Brazilian contributors to Punho do Guerreiro!
You can find Punho do Guerreiro translated into English here.

Here’s a great adventure from the Brazilian community which I have assisted in translating to English:
This is an adventure for 2 to 4 fighters of rank 1, taking your team of street fighters on an unexpected expedition in the Peruvian jungle! The information contained below is intended for the Storyteller – so if you intend to participate in the session as a player, we recommend that you stop reading to avoid disclosures about the plot.
Couple small changes:
Going forward, I’m currently working on a G-File update, and a post to highlight the SF:STG scene in Brazil. You should also be seeing a Brazilian adventure that I helped translate soon too, after they finish formatting.
I know it’s been a while but there has been a lot of activity in the Facebook group recently that has me motivated. Keep it up! :-)

Hello Everyone,If you hadn’t heard, today Yahoo! announced the coming end of Yahoo! Groups: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/groups/SLN31010.html
What that basically says is that you will be unable to post new content after October 28th (12 days from today), and everything will be deleted on December 14th.
The StreetFighter RPG Group has been pretty dead for a long time, but it also represents 20 years of Street Fighter: The Storytelling fandom and discussion, and so it going away is kind of sad. If you have any messages or files here you’ve ever cared about, now is the time to save them off or archive them. Still, the Street Fighter RPG is not dead yet! What yet remains?
The Future!
Well, some of you may know there was also a Google+ Street Fighter RPG Group f or a time, until Google killed that off as well, so now the only really live places to chat Street Fighter are in two Facebook groups: https://www.facebook.com/groups/sfstg/ is the English speaking SF RPG group and https://www.facebook.com/groups/sfrpgbr/ is the Portuguese speaking SF RPG group (because the Brazilians be keeping Street Fighter RPGing alive down there like nowhere else!)
As for web sites, Matt Meade’s site is still the best Street Fighter RPG site in the English speaking world at https://sfrpg.com/< /a> . While you’re there, I’d recommend checking out his excellent (if incomplete) “The G-File”, a slick looking pdf e-book of Styles, Maneuvers and Characters from all of the Street Fighter video games not represented in the old rules at https://sfrpg.com/g-file/ and also… maybe, if you’re interested, you could check out my compilation pdf of “Street Fighter: The Storytelling Game – 20th Anniversary Edition”, which contains the compiled rules from all of the old White Wolf books at https://sfrpg.com/sf20-
release-street-fighter-the-
storytelling-game-20th-anniversary- edition/ . Someday I swear I’ll give it one more editing pass for all the little oversights I made on first release…
In the Portuguese speaking world, I’d recommend https://sfrpg.com.br . They keep working on fan produced ‘zine material and have their own version of “Street Fighter 20th Anniversary” they’ve been working hard on.
Last Call!
So, as the group winds down. Any of you still out there? If you are, maybe share a favorite memory, either from the old days of the Yahoo! Group, or any old Street Fighter RPG games or campaigns you were involved with in the past (or even the present!)
I remember playing this game since all of the way back in ’94. Like, a 5 year long campai gn that ended in the Street Fighter 2 tournament. Another campaign that was based around the Street Fighter: EX games, one based in Metro City… just tons of great memories. It’s still my favorite RPG, the one with the most experiences I remember fondly.
We await your return… Warrior!
