You play a mean WHO? Never heard of em'. I'd prefer a "copycat"
character.
one very similar to the character you want to play, but not an actual
adaptation of the real character... although something could have
happened,
like the other character came through a dimensional portal, and while he
was
here something happened and he was cloned, and the new character could
be
his clone, therefore looking just like him... he might even have been
taught a maneuver or two from the actual "real" character before he went
back to his own universe, and therefore wears the same type of clothing
and
uses the same style and similar maneuvers... just a thought...

Subject: Re: Rinaldo Gambetta and J. Scott Pittman
'k, here's the deal on cyborgs.

cybernetics is a background like any other, and you can put 1-5 points
into it. When purchasing Focus maneuvers, you have the option of using
your Cybernetic background instead of your Focus rating to meet its
pre-requisites, and you also have the option of using your physical
stats instead of your mental when calculating its speed and damage.
Cyborgs also have a bonus dot to add to either physical or mental, can
increase their physical and mental stats beyond five with no increased
cost, and can power their cybernetic Focus maneuvers with health instead
of Chi if they so desire. Speaking of health, Cyborgs get twelve
instead of ten and begin with negative two dots of permanent honor.

Subject: "Friendly" Fight Fifteen Nuclear Winter Vs Mr.Militar
This a funny fight, read this and make it without laugh cost me much.

Nuclear Winter style: Silat player: downfall Country: Japan

Appearance: No send it to me

Quote before fight: none.

Mr.Military style: Special Forces Country: Usa Player: J.Scot Pittman.

Quote before fight: Mr. Military spits out an old cigar butt and narrows his
eyes at his opponent.

Appearance: Mr. Military, an afirian-american, dresses in a marine full
military dress uniform, and is very clean cut. However, he is almost always
seen smoking a smelly cigar. His expression is always one of disgust or
seriousness. Mr.Military stands 6 ft. exactly, with black, crew-cut hair,
deep brown eyes.
He bears a scar of unknown origin that runs from the top of the left side of
his forehead all the way down the side of his face.

Arena: A Indonesian temple with some monks praying or making meditation.

Fighters are 3 hexes from each other the ring bells and fight start.

Move 1- Mr.Military move 1 hex to make a Foot Sweep for his combo and hit air

Chill man, all I'm saying is you might want to research another method
of die-rolling, as the one you've got might not be realistic enough. I
*never* deal that much damage that consistently with real dice.

As some people have noted to me all the friendly
fighters are low rank i wish to do something similar
except with higher rank (namely from 6 to 9 th)
fighters so here is the submission guidelines.

1- Any character you send me must have any Brand new
special moves described in detail by brand new i mean
ones you created specificly for that character.

2- All characters will be Aproved by me don't take it
personally if youre character is not accepted some
characters just wont fit in or one of their powers is
to potent to keep it fair.

3- Lease give me a description of your characters
personality and apereance because these will be in
script style so i want to know how they act and look.

4- please describe me how they fight, Would they hit a
dizzied opponent do they like to show off. It makes
for a more interesting fight. Please no flaims if you
think
i diddent represent your character quite right, After
all they are youre character and you can play them
best.

5- rules i will use all house rules that i sent out if
you diddent get a copy i will re poast it if you wish.
Also if you want to make a chaaracter from scratch
please use the rank guidelines in the street fighter
vault.

I have a few npc's ready to fight already if anyones
willing.

Final Note: Master fo ffists #1 will be reaching your
mail boxes soon.

CLIFF!

Subject: Friendly Fighter's Sketches
I haven't had all the time I would like to make tons of sketches, as my
"real" character sketches have had many orders lately, and those (much
higher quality and time consuming) sketches must come first. However, as
promised, I have sketched some of the first fighters in the Friendly Fights.
They are Mr. Military (my own character), Genryu Kia, Gokiwa, and Blaise.
You will find their sketches at the following urls:

Hey ya there Rinaldo. No REAL ill-will between you and Tom....in fact he
want's to enter another fighter in, this one by the books.

So, before he can do such he'd like to know the EXCAT rules that you have
for the tournament.
Keep in mind, this is a 16 year old Lawyer in training, so if you don't say
it isn't legit, he will assume that he can abuse that privilage.
It's a pain in the butt, but just give him your guidlines and I'll try to
keep him in check, before he submits a characeter.
Thanx!

Group: streetfighter Message: 3977 From: J. Scott Pittman Date: 11/23/1999
Subject: Re: Friendly Fighter's Sketches
Although not nearly as humorous as some I have seen, here's a Style I
thought was fun to make:

Jedi Knight Training
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there was a group of beings that
called upon The Force to protect the galaxy. Thier power was legendary, and
they used it wisely, except for those who gave in to The Dark Side, and
became the Sith. Calling upon strange powers, and using thier elegant
Lightsabers, they were the champions, and villans, of the universe.

Schools: Wherever a master can be found, and they are very rare. Characters
may travel the galaxy and never find a master.

Members: Masters do not take students easily, and even those who have shown
great skill and success are still sometimes refused for the training.
Sometimes a student will stay with a master for years, but he is never
required to do so, and can leave when he feels the time is right, but will
normally do so only when his master informs his his training is complete.

Concepts: Jedi in training, alien with "natural attunement" for the force

Chi: 5
Willpower: 2

Quote: "You must do what you feel is right, of course..."

Special Maneuvers (those presented with an (*) are described in the
Encyclopedia Combatica)

Punch:
Dim Mak

Kick:
Backflip Kick

Block:
Energy Reflection
Missle Reflection

Grab:
Neck Choke (Sith Only)

Athletics:
Animae Leap*
Backflip
Breakfall
Jump
Lightfeet

Focus
Balance
Chi Kung Healing
Cobra Charm
Future Sense*
Ghost Form (can be learned but not used until death, applies after death,
allowing the jedi to stay in the material world for an unspecified amount of
time - apparently, to be able to use this power, the character has to
willingly die (as did ben kenobi, anakin skywalker and yoda; other
characters who have been shown that hve died in a moment of violence have
not appeared in a Ghost Form).
Lightning*
Mind Control
Psychic Vise
Mind Reading
Telepathy
Push
Sakki
Shocking Grasp
Telekenesis*
Telekenesis, Improved*

Practitioners of Jedi Training also must learn the use of the Lightsaber
(maneuvers are identical to Swordfighting*). The Lightsaber has the
following modifiers:

Technique: Unique (Lightsaber)
Speed: +2
Damage: +6
Move: +1
Specials: Easily concealed; destroys any other weapon used to parry it's
attack (excpet another Lightsaber); cannot be blocked (unless the opposing
character has a speial means of blocking, such as a force field or
force-field reinforced armor, for example). Lighsabers are very rare.

Hate to jump into the argument bandwagon folks...! A Block adds a number of
dice equal to your Block Technique Rating to your Soak total when you've
declared it.
Example: Blaise blocks. His Stamina Rating would have accounted for his
Soak total (3, I hate giving away secrets!), but with his Block Technique
Rating of 1 (again with the secrets!), he now has a total Soak pool of 4
dice to Block the incoming attack.
Don't believe me? Look at the main sourcebook...you'll find it all on page
137 of the main Streetfighter RPG sourcebook. Besides, we all want to Block
to not get hurt, and not just get the speed bonus, right folks? If we were
all after the speed bonus, that's as dumb as a Cyborg Native American
Wrestler with Speed of The Mongoose and Musical Accompaniment. :)

I can't believe I'm correcting myself here. I missed the little part about
"except during a Grab maneuver". Boy do I feel sheepish...*blush*.

Just say to him to make a rank 1 fighter without merit or flaws, I don´t remove
any manuver or style, people send me te common and know styles, but if he want

there is a grain of truth to this. Back in my glory days I surfed the

Group: streetfighter Message: 3995 From: Chris Krug-Iron Date: 11/24/1999
Subject: Another time, another fight.
It was always the same. Fighters and onlookers, crying out for blood,
crying out for the fight. One dumb sonofabitch getting a little too rowdy
for his own good; a fighter feeling a little too obligated to set him
straight. Both being shown either the door or the arena floor. Come to
think about it, that was how Blaise got involved in the first place...
'All I was trying to do was see how the fighter I bet on would turn out,
is all,' he reflected to himself 'his fault that he got mouthy and decided
to show me his fist.' An inward giggle followed.
'But when he saw how quickly the stars had shown up...'
No one in the arena actually expected an onlooker to beat one of the
fighters. Blaise had no technique, no skill, only his two fists and a swift
kick to the ribs while the fighter was down. He was thoroughly versed in
the art of brawling.
'My boots got a new shine that day. Oh, well, I lost the bet.'
Blaise thought as he brightened into a grin that would make a televangelist
proud. As he walked further away from the crowd, all yelling insults,
cheers and so forth, he took a long drag on his cigarette, which had now
burned itself nearly to the filter. Blaise started going through the Forms
in his head, preparing himself for another match. No one had challenged him
yet.
'Gonna have to remedy that teeny little problem...'
His warmups were rudimentary at best. A far cry from what Michelle had
taught him. She'd be beside herself seeing the basic technique he'd been
using. No crispness, nearly sluggish timing. What did he care? He was
fighting a tougher battle. That damn hangover. As Blaise slipped off the
denim jacket that had become one of his closest friends, he wondered how
he'd even progressed as far as the Style of the Snake. It was the best one
suited to him, by far. Tiger was too crude for his liking, Dragon was fine
for old men, Eagle hurt his fingers, Monkey was just plain goofy...
There were a thousand and one ways Blaise would brush off all the other
styles, but the fact of the matter was he was a lazy bastard.
'Well, enough of the laziness,' Blaise looked around himself, feeling the
little aches and pains in his muscles disappear with a renewed vigor.
Determination was the order of the menu today. That Shotokan goon was
getting a little too prevalent at the tournament for his liking. Hell, even
if he lost, it wasn't about winning was it?
'About meeting your opponent in true, actual, physical combat. Yeah,
Michelle, I did like that when you told me that.' Lighting another
cigarette, taking a long pull from his hip flask ('the pain'll be gone in a
matter of seconds, anyway'), he sauntered over to the edge of the crowd,
where the Karateka in constant pain was resting after his last fight.
"Hey, Gokiwa, or whatever your name is..."

When I did stats for lightsabers, I maxed them out at +7 damage. Seemed
appropriate.

Would energy reflection help against one? I'd allow it to, but perhaps
double the Chi cost.

Lightsabers can be constructed by a Jedi after learning the proper
skills and gaining the proper materials, the most crucial of which is
the proper crystal (very rare) to focus the beam through.

Although not nearly as humorous as some I have seen, here's a Style I
thought was fun to make:

Jedi Knight Training
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there was a group of beings
that
called upon The Force to protect the galaxy. Thier power was legendary,
and
they used it wisely, except for those who gave in to The Dark Side, and
became the Sith. Calling upon strange powers, and using thier elegant
Lightsabers, they were the champions, and villans, of the universe.

Schools: Wherever a master can be found, and they are very rare.
Characters
may travel the galaxy and never find a master.

Members: Masters do not take students easily, and even those who have
shown
great skill and success are still sometimes refused for the training.
Sometimes a student will stay with a master for years, but he is never
required to do so, and can leave when he feels the time is right, but
will
normally do so only when his master informs his his training is
complete.

Concepts: Jedi in training, alien with "natural attunement" for the
force

Chi: 5
Willpower: 2

Quote: "You must do what you feel is right, of course..."

Special Maneuvers (those presented with an (*) are described in the
Encyclopedia Combatica)

Punch:
Dim Mak

Kick:
Backflip Kick

Block:
Energy Reflection
Missle Reflection

Grab:
Neck Choke (Sith Only)

Athletics:
Animae Leap*
Backflip
Breakfall
Jump
Lightfeet

Focus
Balance
Chi Kung Healing
Cobra Charm
Future Sense*
Ghost Form (can be learned but not used until death, applies after
death,
allowing the jedi to stay in the material world for an unspecified
amount of
time - apparently, to be able to use this power, the character has to
willingly die (as did ben kenobi, anakin skywalker and yoda; other
characters who have been shown that hve died in a moment of violence
have
not appeared in a Ghost Form).
Lightning*
Mind Control
Psychic Vise
Mind Reading
Telepathy
Push
Sakki
Shocking Grasp
Telekenesis*
Telekenesis, Improved*

Practitioners of Jedi Training also must learn the use of the Lightsaber
(maneuvers are identical to Swordfighting*). The Lightsaber has the
following modifiers:

Technique: Unique (Lightsaber)
Speed: +2
Damage: +6
Move: +1
Specials: Easily concealed; destroys any other weapon used to parry it's
attack (excpet another Lightsaber); cannot be blocked (unless the
opposing
character has a speial means of blocking, such as a force field or
force-field reinforced armor, for example). Lighsabers are very rare.

The Steve Weick once referred to the Cartwheel Kick as the most
"boneheaded" maneuver he'd ever seen. However, he did so privately in
E-mail to Howard Collins. My interview with The Man doesn't discuss the
CWK, only the inherent suckage of Ear Pop.

The CWK is *so* easily avoidable it ain't even funny. I allow it in my
games and the only time it's ever been even remotely deadly is in a
wide-open space where the fighter was able to blind-side his opponent
with it and get his full move.

Ok, you'll probably get my character tomorow then. REPEATING FIREBALL
(no, not really).

Steve's got it on his page somewhere, and to point out his journalistic
integrity, he (Steve) thinks the Cartwheel kick is all right, but posts
the alternative by the creator (who I can't spell) anyway (God I love
parens).

Not really, he'd go out, do his fight, then go back to his cage and gnaw
on some bones.

Ok, I guess it is sad.

They just imortalize you in story and song as the goober who triped over
his own land mine.

Right. There's only one school on earth, the Masaki Shrine in Japan
(Jurian and Jedi sort of sound alike).

Except for Tenchi, I don't think Yosho would take students.

Pretty dangerous quote, afterall Bison thinks it's right to mind control,
kill, terrorize, etc.

Well, we'll have to wait for episode two to know if Quaidon (sp?) makes an
astral appearance.

So normal swordsmanship doesn't apply here. I can see that. It's
probably a bit disconcerting for a swordsman to have all the weight (what
little there is of it) in the hilt.

Yup, only one on earth. However, I think if a mystic artifact is
indestructible (like Excalibur, any of the swords from The Book of Swords,
Captain America's Shield, etc.) then it can parry a lightsabre.

dunno... anything that works and gives realistic results. :) Perhaps
do a comparison of rolls generated from the program and real dice?

You mean play real dices, or search another dice generator?
