Take a look at Mic Foley's (aka Mankind) matches since his loss to the Rock.
Notice the lack of head shots against him? It's due to the fact that he's
currently suffering for the shots he did take. (Memory loss, dizzyness,
etc.)
IIRC, the reason only HHH & Chyna use the 'Pedegree' is because nobody else
can quite figure out how to do it safely. (Remember when the Rocker's
paralysed someone with their 'Rocker Dropper' because of a screwup?)

Subject: What was it that Ryu hit Sagat with?
A while ago this question can up. In SFA, the scar that Sagat has actually
glows sometimes, which suggests to me that not only he was hit by Chi , as
opposed to fire, but that it still burns sometimes. Which would help suggest
why Sagat is so bent on revenge. Maybe Ryu altered the technique after SF1,
seeing how horrible it could be? I mean, he does all sorts of Dragon Punches
later and nobody else is scarred (as far as we know).
Again, all mindless speculation on my part based on very little information.
Which was great up until a couple of years ago.
Unfortunately the use of weapons (some more real than others) got involved and a
lot more started happening outside the ring on mats the equivalent of the stuff
from a high-school gym for wrestling or tumbling.
I don't know if anyone's actually stood in a
professional wrestling ring, but they're nothing but big trampolines. You
can bodyslam someone all you want and they'll just bounce.
Not exactly... while it is true that they are nto as solid as a regular
ring for like Karate or Boxing, they are still sold enough for it to
hurt.. and bad... To disprove your statement, look at how they walk on
it... if it was a trampoline, that would not be possible...

I like the idea, though, that Ryu has access to terribly destructive power
that the honorable side of him serves to suppress-It would definately explain
why Akuma is so interested in him and why Dark Ryu is a possibility...

I'm pretty sure that KoF doesn't have any bonus stages whatsoever. The
Fatal Fury series had armwrestling matches at different intervals. The
first one was easy. The second was murderous. At least in the first game.
Art of Fighting had training matches, though I don't remember what they
were.

Never been to a convention. Don't know. Is it really that bad, though? I
think I read in an article on your webpage about "lilting voices with
waggling fingers going you are MINE PU-ny MOR-tal", or some such like that.
Just sounds like really bad overacting to me. I just like to play 'em as
close to "real" people as possible. It's kinda hard to be "real" people
when you're a Giovanni Necromancer who's specialties is the walking dead.
