I know that Matt is running a game through openrpg.com

I'm looking for someone that wants to run a play-by-post game through
rpol.net - if you're interested, for God's sake man, run it. There's
more than a few rabid superfans still bandying about this place and
elsewhere, we'll keep it alive as long as it takes!

OH GOD PLEASE. SOMEONE DO THIS. :p

ooh I didn't see this message. I'd be interested in joining if you don't
mind a player who hasn't played in years so is likely quite rusty on the
rules, especially in battle.

Hi, guys,

Name's Marko and I'm running the RPoL game. I'm new here, but I'm
enthusiast for obscure games (mainly by WW). I'm a bit rusty on rules,
but I hope it won't show. Anyway, feel free to contact me either by
email or rmail (I'm Tzuppy there, too).

Subject: Online game-table
All this talk about online games got me working on my online game-table
again.

Got most of the map-maker + clickable-movement done today.
It's here if you wanna peek:
http://sfrpg.com/test/hex.php
(obviously the size and bg will be in a database in the end)

I'd like to do it without javascript if anyone has any ideas, however the
values submited with "input type=image" are inconsistent across browsers so
it seemed like the only way. (setting a hidden field onclick)

it'll basically be a forum, with different sections(chronicles) with a map
at the top of each thread(scene) + a die roller + a combat card
chooser/revealer + some player and dm tools.

Hehey!! This looks really promising Matt. ^^

I am currently starting an Indie Game Developer company myself, and I
have some ideas about an online SF-style game.
Think FF-style Isometric view, a city to explore and NPCs to give you
quests.
It's gonna be made really simple in the start, since this will only be
a side-project of the company's main ones ;)

Anyways. If anyone has any coding experience and the time and will to
help, we could assemble a team to make it.
The goal is a free-to-play online game, with the possibility to
donate. And just use google and text ads on the site to pay for the
hosting ;)

Well, I wasn't (due to real life and other distractions) for quite a
while, and I finally got the motivation to push to get stuff together
over the past couple months. Now comes the feedback/revision/playtesting
part, so any and all feedback is appreciated. :3

That would be really, really cool of you. Not to be too greedy, I
have ordered Secrets of Shadoloo and Perfect Warrior from Ebay. That
would leave me needing the Player's Guide, Contenders and the Screen.
Do you have all of these (to spare)? Any books you need? Maybe we can
work out a trade. I have some AD&D 2nd and Thrid, star trek, star
wars (d6), a brand new copy of World of Darkness (the new one). I
realize you offered for free, but I would be glad to offer in return.

Got the majority of mine from Amazon Marketplace. But the Player's
Guide cost me eighty-- *after* emailing the seller about the fact that
there were six of them available within a nickel of his original asking
price.

If anyone comes up with an extra copy of Contenders, I'm looking for
it, too. Have an electronic copy, of course, but would really like to
have a real book.

Especially with SF4 coming out soon.

I tried this download, but you only get the basic rules and secrets
of shadoloo... but I hear the other books are out there in electric
format as well - is that true? Where can I get them? (pssssst - you
can reach me by messenger if you are afraid of thr copyright police)

You'll notice this pdf is a form and you can type in your character
info. It comes out in the right fonts etc. (lower case "L" is a dot)
http://sfrpg.com/downloads/sfstg_character_sheet.pdf

Please help me bug test by letting me know if all the dots etc line up
correctly. (they shouldn't be any more off than the book)
Pdf is supposed to be pretty universal for that kind of thing but I
just want to make sure.

Very nice!
I love character sheets you can edit.
I have been trying to find one for Street Fighter and Adventure! For a long
time.

I am hoping that someone on this list has archived my SF:STG rules, and maybe

If so, please send them to me at staredown@....

Yeah, I just found that myself. Unfortunately it doesn't have everything,
though it does have everything I expected the group might have archived.

The sf stuff is mostly low-bandwidth text right?
want me to host it for you when you rebuild it?
a domain to point at it would be cheap, or just use ugly domain like
staredown.sfrpg.com
