Either America or Japan. I rarely get specific until damn dirty plot demands
it. Most of my games range all over the world (and even other planets a couple
of times), but the PC's home bases is almost always in the US or Japan).

> 2) How powerful is the average member of your gaming group?

I like to start them off as base PCs with free Jump and Kippup maneuvers (I
also require that at least one point is put in Athletics). They tend to get to
high rank 5/low rank 6 before shifting work scheduels and such cause the game
to self-destruct.

Rarely. Though there was that military campaign where everyone had to turn
their (failed) reports in to a certain Lt. Guile. That was a bit
nerve-wracking for them.

Usually. It keeps me from haveing to make my own overarching evil organization
that covertly rules the world.

Do you want me too?
I just moved recently so I have free time till I find new friends.

I could start anew or right where I left off.

Anyone?

Yeah! That would truly be cool!

As I recall, I was winning (or at least not loosing), but there are a lot (I
assume) of people who wern't on the list when you started it. So it might be
better if you began again (though I would like to use the same character.

Which kind of input does it use. (2 pressure sensitive buttons or 6 buttons?)

The 6 button style that they switched to when ppl started breaking the
pressure sensative buttons routinely on the arcade cabinets.

I think capcom wishes everyone would forget the 2 pressure sensetive
buttons, haha.

That would add an interesting element if they still used that in all sf
games. Have to keep your cool and not hit it too hard even when you are
all excited. Hmmmm

i realized its about time for one, the last time i did one third

trying to get rid of depreciated tags and use a lot of CSS this time

Any thoughts on how the new lrgames game could possibly make our
material obsolete?

for example: my site has moves and char sheets of SFers from alpha
and three... lrgames will have balanced, playtested versions of all
these for d20 and rules for converting it to white wolf.

or:
ch.a.m.p.s. will lrgames have a system for building moves?

hoffman: same with alpha

etc..

or, do you think when they use a white wolf "ism" it will be so
radically different from the system white wolf actually used when
they did it, that it won't matter (basically just dots in common)?

I really don't think it matters. I made my alpha stuff because I had a
dedefinitedea that I ripped off of CaCapcomn how supers should work.
Regardless of what system they have, I'll probably adapt my own (unless they
actually have mine, in which case I'll still adapt my own.)

Likewise you have some didistincthoughts on how the new world warriors stack up
against each other. Doubtless you'll make modifications no matter what they
put down for them, you'll meddle with them until they fit your vision.

I'm planning on using a different system (fuzion) for it,
and I've already tweaked it for combat. So I agree, we'll
all probably tinker with the rules until they match our
concepts of Street Fighter.

probably not actually. unless they REALLY screw something up
COMPLETELY which i doubt.

maybe im just not a meddler, hah.

I havent ever actually used anything on my page for anything. I just
do it to be doing it (i figured someone else might want em). my
players never got high enough power to need the world warrior stats,
and tho the moves have always been available to them they never
bought any.

and now I live like 500 miles away from them so i doubt we'll be
playing anytime soon.

I personally can't wait for the new game to come out. Sure a lot of the old
stuff will be obsolete, but hey, we get to make new stuff!

lol.

Actually, CHAMPS is a labor of love - one of those
things I wanted to get right, even if no one used it -
however, I think the final product was rather nice.
Did anyone see the .pdf version? Anyone using it or
did use it? I added a few new things to the .pdf
version that everyone seemed to want - a way to design
"plus" maneuvers and a printable design sheet - lots
of art (not mine), and the entire book has a much
easier look to it than the web site. Any feedback is
always appreciated.
Oh - and the system really works! No more +7 damage
maneuvers for 1 exp. As always, the CHAMPS book covers
creating your own Styles and Backgrounds as well - and
keeps all of them in balance.

Personally, it would be hard to convince me that there
is a combat system more fun than the storyteller
street fighter system. I don't think I'll switch over
to a new one (not that we play the old one right now)

but that being said. its funny as hell.

On Balrog:
"He doesn't even have an interesting background. The manuals say
that he's just one of Bison's hired hands. Doesn't Bison own
Thailand or some shit? Why the hell would he need some boxer in
Vegas to carry out his assignments? Especially a boxer from Vegas
that the manual itself refers to as 'stupid.' In fact, almost all of
Bison's minions were completely ridiculous. Aside from Balrog, Bison
entrusts a Spanish transvestite and a giant pirate in his efforts
for global domination. "

At this point, I don't care if they come out with Street Fighter Suppositories,
we need *something* to spark some inspiration. When the hell was the last
purely street fighter video game released (not anniversary collection/vs.)?
Manga? Novels? Art Books? Anime? Dojin without porn (do such things exist?)
'cause i don't run those kind of games?

Need to get my hands on the new american SF comic... Anyone wana do a review
of it? Is it worth the time? Are there TPBs yet?

One thing I do want are Street Fighter checks. I'd ditch my debit card in a
heart beat for some of those.
