Okay. Let's take a look at what happens when a powerful tyrant takes a dirt
nap, shall we? A few things tend to happen. Either A) the oppressed try to
make a power-grab (figuring that power = security), or B) everyone who has
even the most tenuous of titles try to coalesce power to them or the camp
that they are currently alligned with.

Look for folks from the more downtrodden races (the dragon-kin and the
centaurs and such) to get into a war with each other. Why? Simple. They
hate each other, and a powerful fist was the only thing keeping their act
together. So they'll get back into killing each other off with a quickness.

Shang Tsung will become a pretty powerful guy. What's that? He's dead? It
doesn't matter. If I remember correctly, he is a playable character near
the end of the series, long after his supposed death. besides, he's
magically delicious. It wouldn't be too hard to have someone else get aced
by Shao Khan for Shang Tsung's failure. After all, he -was- the first bad
guy, and he must know some of the ins and outs of Outworld politics. Or
else, he'd never have made it so far into Khan's court, yeah?

Sindel will become a real power-player, too. Look for her to try to ace
Shang Tsung (after all, he -should- have already been dead). Merceneries
devoted to the war as a way of life would spring up, selling their abilities
to the highest bidder. Come to think of it, this might be a good way to
bring in the ninjas. Or Jax! I mean, he's already dead, right?

The key here is to study the Hundred Kingdoms era in China. Lotsa warlords
who have total power, but only locally. A few big names, but other than
that, you have almost no trade between "kingdoms", starvation may well be
rampant, and things will suck more than before (which, for Outworld, really
says something).

Don't forget a few good guys who are at war with each other. After all,
choosing sides shouldn't be easy, should it? Make good and evil very, very
ambiguous to the players.

Do? Try to find a way home, man. Come on! This isn't you're average
"being a bad-ass" thing. This is a "you are so far from your home planet
that most of the residents here haven't even heard of it before" thing. Not
to mention that the whole place looks like Tim Burton's idea of Beirut!

Definitely enjoyed it, though I coulda done without the (IMHO) overhyped

Personally, I don't think it's much of a problem - the volume's relatively

Kill Bill is SUCH a good StreetFighter-esque movie.
And also so much better than I thought it would be.
More than just a bunch of fight scenes connected by paper-thin plot,
this has a really good story (in a very Tarantino way) that left me
very hungry for vol.2

I highly recomend.
GREAT flick. (and full of inspiration, and many elements you may want
to bring into your campaign)

Also for anime fans, there is a whole chapter of this movie done in
really good anime (the part detailing O-ren's [lucy liu]
history/backstory). One of the most emotional parts of the movie IMO,
so it's good to see animation used to tell a mature story in a major
US movie.

Easily the best Tarantino movie IMO.

Kind of really gory in parts (makes you realize every other sword-
fight scene you've ever watched is sugar-coated. very samurai,very
anime-esque) and has mention/hint at pedophilia and rape. (so leave
the children/weak stomachs/easily offended at home)

Well since I only got three people to respond, everyone that did will get an

Wallaby Jones walked away from the turmoil kicked up in the ruins of
Outworld at a healthy 5 wins 2 draws and 0 losses and this years grand
champion

Trailing right behind him was Katie, the fiery Tae Kwon Do student and Fang
Po, the mystical Kabaddi artist. Both at 5 wins and 2 losses.

After that it was everyone else:

Nick Nakamoto (Shotokan Karate and Seattle comic book sensation) 3-1-3
Mickey St Crouix (Jeet Kune Do and wandering/aspiring martial arts master)
3-0-4
Tia (Brutal Lua fighter & surf chick who loves dislocate limb) 2-2-3
Leo (Corporate Ninja and new to the street fighting circuit) 2-0-5
Lan Tzu (aspiring elementalist & Kung Fu practitioner) 0-1-6

I did want to make an honorable mention to the players of both Nick Nakamoto
and Tia for being lowly rank 2's and battling the venerable rank 6 Wallaby
Jones to a stand still. Forcing his two draws.

So what I need from William Dilbeck [archangelveruk@...], Erik the Odd
[eriktheodd@...] (aka Chris), and WuShuWrior@... is this:

Give me a description of the one SF character (yours preferably, not the
original SF cast :) ) you enjoy the most. And I'll do my best to get as
close to your decription as possible

Being a Sanbo wrestler, he's large, but almost unnaturally so. He's around 7 feet, 3 inches tall, waist-length red hair, piercing blue eyes. His chin is somewhat rounded and normal, and is almost always smiling. His nose was broken a few times, but retains most of its hawk-beak shape, with the slope of the nose a little steep. His cheeks and jawline are relatively normal. As a birth defect, his hands are exceptionally large with sausage-like fingers (he's not going to type on a computer, but his strength is such that he could crush a car door with one hand. The rest is all size; given his size his muscles are tremendous (in a desperate bid to save another character's life, he lifted off a Ford F-350 to get to his crushed comrade). He's not fat, but it's obvious he's not going to be jumping very high at any point in his career.

But, on a stranger note, the Mangler (the "Stage Name" of Clark Wright), has learned a little bit of what could be misconstrued as Shotokan Karate, taught by some sort of strange character- an aura reading by a fellow warrior of Kabaddi disposition- revealed that the character is not from this dimension.

Slappy, you running another game or putting anything new on your SF
site?

The StreetFigher RPG is the best fighting system hands down. Most of
us agree on that (or it's at least one of the best). We also all have
came across all the annoying "glitches" in the system. We deal with
them with a variety of popular house rules.I thought about making a
whole new system. I've been working on something that only remotly
resembles the original White Wolf game, and It's almost complete.
Anyone else doing any ORIGINAL RPG designing for StreetFighter? I
want to hear!

I just uploaded a pic of my favourite Street Fighter PC, James Spirto.
Take a look at let me know what you guys think. My friend drew him for
me.
If anyone else has pics of their characters, you should upload them into
the photo section of the group so we can all see them.

Yeh I have been, a little anoyed with the fights so
far. Guile vs Birdie, barley even a page fight. Vega
vs Honda, barley even a page fight.
I hope this isn't going to be the way of all the
fights, boring...
I like the art work, though very very nice.
Just hope they use the characters better, if they want
a fight instead of using birdie they could have just
used a tough. Anyone formt he streetfighter series,
should be a huge fight like two to three pages, or
even half the comic.
Yes there is a story, and i prefere stories, but when
there is a fight, it should be a huge fight, heaps of
action and heaps of shots of it.

Just my two cents worth. :)

I think next issue will have a good fight. At least I hope there is a
Ken vs Vega fight.
I dont know, maybe Im just jazzed that there is a Street Fighter comic
at all. Or maybe because Im preparing a new Street Fighter campaign.

Speaking of which, what do you guys use to represent characters in your
battles? Minatures? Coins? Dice? I found that Hero Clix figures work
pretty good. Especially the Hand Ninjas!
