I would say this move is more blinding than damaging.

Dude, everyone likes Army of Darkness. Everybody. My _mother_ thought Army of
Darkness was just okay, but she's weird like that.

There is one very simple reason for this phenomenon, and his name is Bruce
"Jesus Christ" Campbell.

Brisco County Jr. rocked, everything I've seen with BC in it rocked.

Ever seen "Lunatics"?
Thats a funny little movie.

Stars the guy who plays Joxer on Xena I think, but Bruce Campbell has
bit parts as 'the boyfriend' and 'the doctor'

Hmmmmm, I think a lot of the moves can be summed up as versions of other
moves. You could have the elbow drop just being an elbow strike, ala Muay
Thai, or something like that. But, one thing which allways got me was that
there is no powerbomb move. Any thoughts on what the statline should be,
since it is kinda different from most of the other moves in the game.

The 'guy who plays Joxer' is Xena Director/producer Sam Raimi's little
brother. Since there might be some people on earth who don't know, Sam
Raimi is the guy behind Evil Dead, Xena, & the new Spiderman movie. & Bruce
Campbell has been in everything he's done.

No argument there. Would anyone mind if I plug my supercool punk song,
which has nothing to do with Street Fighter, but EVERYTHING to do with Bruce
Campbell?

(Waits five seconds)

Okay, here is a supercool punk song about the greatest person ever, Ashley
J. Williams, aka Ash. It's called Harmony of Darkness, and I hope you'll
sing it along with me.

Hehehhe.. I wonder how Bruce got such a rabid fan following. He's a very
kool guy too. Back in September I crashed his signing session at a Vul-con
while wearing a 10' tall protoss costume. He played it up by yell at us 'Oh
no! MONSTER from my next movie!'.

Hey matt, have you received any of my letter's concering the next moves in
the tournament? I sent you 2-3 I think, but I haven't heard back.
Just wanna makes sure it's not an e-mail prob.

Matt.....maybe you should try holding the next tourney at a message board, not on a mailing list.

It's progressing too slowly for my tastes.

Ah well, not like everyone could log on all the time anyways.....

its not supposed to be fast paced.
more like playing a game of chess with someone where you make 1 move
a day. or by snail mail.

the main goal is to present you the situation as it would be in a
real game for you to make your decision on, instead of being expected
to have forsight 10 moves in advance against sum1 you havent seen
fight yet (like with 'strategies')

thats why i have the hex map picture and everything, you couldnt have
that, or proper moderation of play, at a message board.

I've heard it refered to as a "Double Underhook, Face First Piledriver". In

The 3-D. D-von whips them into the ropes, grabs them about the waist, and

I'd say:
Prerequisites: Grab 5, Strength 5, Powerbomb
PP: Wrestling, Sanbo 4; Native American Wrestling 5
Cost: 1WP; Spd: -3; Dam: +7; Move: One.

Just an improved version of the Pile Driver, say:
Prerequisites: Grab 4, Athletics 2, Pile Driver
PP: Sanbo, Wrestling 4; Native American Wrestling, Special
Forces 5
Cost: 1 WP; Spd: -2, Dam: +6, Move: One

Cost: none; Spd: -3; Dam: +5; Move: One

Powerbomb
Prerequisites: Grab 3
PP: Native Amercican Wrestling, Sanbo, Wrestling 2; The
Pancration 3; any 4
Cost: none; Spd: -2; Dam: +4; Move: One

Perhaps something a little bit 'cleaner', system-wise?

I would suggest removing the optional willpower expenditure and
making the throw distance system identical to Air Throw.

Just a suggestion.

Hurts more cause theres a lot more pressure on the
small of back as with bends a lot more. Try it out on
a friend some time. Definite difference The farther
back he stands the more bending and the more pressure
(liontamer was so much more hardcore)

What the hell I will something like speed -6 (basicly
only performable if opponent is dizzied) damge 0 move
+1 or 2 opponent loses 5 temporary glory and you gain
2

Ok. Since RVD is one of my favorite wrestlers, I'm gonna work out the Five
Star Frog Splash a bit further then I did before. Tell me what y'all think.

Five Star Frog Spalsh
Pre: Dex 5, Ath 4, Flying Tackle
PP: Capoeria, Native American Wrestling, Wrestling 3; Sanbo, Spec. Forces 4.
By leaping from a higher position towards a prone opponent, the Fighter
curls into a cannonball position. Nearing his downed opponent, the Fighter
snaps out into a spread eagle position. The resulting added velocity causes
more damage to the opponent, and some to the user.
Cost: 1Will
Speed: +2
Damage: +2 (additional +1 for every hex moved)
Move: +0 (additional +1 for every 5 feet higher then opponent)

Now, who wants stats for the Crippler Crossface, the signature move of my
favorite wrestler, the Crippler Chris Benoit!!!?

guy delivering the Powerbomb stuffs the other guy's head (facedown) between
his legs.

He then wraps his arms around the other guys waist, forming an upside down
'U'

He then jerks himself back upright with enough force to carry the opponents
legs over his shoulders. (The guy on the receiving end should be sitting on
the attackers shoulders, with his crotch in the attackers face.)

The attacker then throws the other guy back down on the ground.

Yeah, powerbomb is pretty straight forward. It's listed in the orignal book
as 'Back Breaker' (but is clearly a powerbomb, and not the pro-wrestling
'backbreaker'. In the Street Fighter Video games the first guy to use it was
Zangief (he had it as a normal grab.) In the alpha series Sodom used a
Flying powerbomb (Butsumetsu Buster) that was later popularized by Alex in
Street Fighter III.

If you guys are big on new move writeups, i recommend doing that move.

Apathetics only bug me when I need to get them to do something.  What frighten me are the really Hard-Core Athiests who start to get furious if you make one tiny comment about God, spirituality, or the tooth fairy.

I am deeply disturbed by people who feel that simple belief in anything more than the physical means I should be subjected to violent argument.

You're not alone. Many people are infuriated by my profound lack of doing
things they want me to do.

I believe in Optimus Prime. Does that count?

Odd. I stoped going to church for a similar reason.

Ever notice how they wait til the end to use thier finisher?

i ahve tested it with a friend of mine and you guys try this and see is
you like it too..

after spending all of youw will power in the fight, legitmitly...
only then can your finisher be used...

example:

Clive is a fierce pro-Wrestler with a PowerBomb finisher. Note the
normal power bomb you find in one of the suppliment books either. He
spends his points wisely, fighting in a wicked tournment, and even
versus a few Shadowlaw threats.

he getsto the finals, and runs out of Willpower, no more special
moves... but this unleashes his secret weapon... 'the Clive Bomb'
{ -2 speed +7 damage ONE move. can not have any will power to use cost
1 chi. cause knockdown.}

He nails his opponent with the 'Clive Bomb' and someone interferes so
he nails them too... as long as he has the Chi to pay for the move...

most wrestlers do not think much about chi...
to my friends' wrestler, its called Heart...
he is willing to go that extra 120% and he uses heart to drive him
forward...

just an idea...
but, i am from now on incorperating it to my campaign. it works that
well

maybe you should do it as a percentage of total willpower, or else
your rewarding ppl with a low stat by giving them an early finisher.

just a thought.

Why hook it to willpower anyway?
Why not use health as a measure? Let's say, after loosing more
than 3/4th of starting health.
That way one could use a finisher in any close match instead of
just in the last rounds of a tournament.
