darkstalkers 3 as soon as the wait for alpha 3 ended.

street fighter Alpha 3 is a fly game on playstation.
or if you have a mod chip i could hook you up with the

Star Wars: Master of Teras Kasi is outrageously BAD, I really hate it...
But Darsktalkers 3 is a very cool game, with some very interesting characters and fighting styles, see for yourself...

Man, I feel so outdated.

Had to do a 2 year break without a game system in the house, just got my
Genisis and Playstation back and grabbed some used games from FunCoLand.

Now, I'm just so thrilled to be playing Bloody Roar 2 and Tekken 3 (mainly
Tekken Force now that I've unlocked everyone and the hidden costumes).

The only other games I get to play without rentals are even more
dated...(and in some cases, just plain BAD)

Old being Super Street Fighter II, the New Challengers, Marvel Super Heroes
and Eternal Champions.... BAD being Double Dragon V & Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles Tournament Fighters.

Wish I could get a hold of Soul Calibur, can't even find a rental around
here (they've both been stolen from the rental places) ....but I'm a bit
fussy about internet transactions after getting burned twice on them.

J.J.

PS. Fixing to raid a used shop in Dallas and the local pawn shops for games.
Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasia or Darkstalkers 3 any good? Can't afford a
PS 2 yet....

Subject: Tekken Comic
In December Image Comics is going to be releasing a mini series based on the
Tekken video game.

This is the write up in case anyone is intrested.

Tekken Forever
#1

Writer: Dave Chi
Penciller: Paco Diaz
Inks: Dark Design Works

"Tekken Forever" is based on the #1 fighting game "Tekken" from Namco. The
comic is just in time to be launched with the release of the video game
"Tekken 4".

In a power play for dominance, Kazuya returns from the burnt ashes of death
to stake his claim as head of the Zaibatsu Empire. To gain the immortal
power that he seeks, Kazuya sets a plan in motion to destroy his father
Heihachi Mishima, as well as his son Jin Kazama, and take their power for
his own.

"Tekken Forever" will also focus on the quest to learn the identity of
"Unknown", the final boss of the "Tekken Tag Tournamnet". This question plus
many others will all be answered in this 4 issue limited series.

Hi,
I joined about a week ago and I've been reading the few posts.
I have a few questions that maybe yall could answer for me. Alright,
I found and bought the first book today, w00t, and I've been reading
all day. I'm a little familiar with the rpg, because I had one on
WebRPG that resembled SF:tSG. When WebRPG started charging, I quit
using it. So, I was wondering where do yall play at: mIRC, WebRPG,
another program, in real life?? Thanks.

Hello, and welcome to the group.

To answer your question, we each have our own players in real life.
The Yahoo group is just where we talk about the game, debate the
rules, come up with new rules, swap ideas, share material etc. not
actually play it.

If you wanted to start up a web game though this would be a good
place to get players (I'm in!).

Some of us here have websites on the subject so be sure and checkout
all the links in the bookmarks area since you're new. Mine
is "Matt's Conversions" and it mainly has character sheets, moves,
styles for all the street fighters who are in the video games but not
the rpg books (Since they kept making the video games but cancelled
the rpg).

I've always been a big advocate for an IRC game, but the problem with
that is IRC seems to be a medium that many people don't use regularily,
and therefore may not join in the fun. But I'm up for it, and will help
you out setting one up if you'd like.

I'm from Toronto.

Database of players, and where they live? You could always check out the
members list. Some profiles have where people live, and if it doesn't,
odds are they won't add it to any specific database either.

not that many ppl use mirc, true..
what about icq?

in addition to its chat functions, you could just play through
messaging too. it has the ability to create groups so the dm could
send to all. plus great for private msgs to the dm.

Or, a lot of companies have free chatrooms for webpages (along the
same lines as free counters, free guestbooks etc.)
they are java based and im pretty sure EVERYONE here has a browser
that supports java. It takes less getting used to than mirc.

Isnt their a homepage for the group here that is just basically a
link to the group with a join submission thing? that would be the
perfect place for an official chatroom for our yahoo group, where we
could play online or just chat. (morg?)

As much as I think IRC is far superior to the cute little java chatrrom
thing, I really think it's the most convenient place to hold such an event.
Everyone has access to it, there's no need to really *learn* anything,
and well....it's right there!

Let me know the time. I'll be there.

Mine
is "Matt's Conversions" and it mainly has character sheets, moves,
styles for all the street fighters who are in the video games but not
the rpg books (Since they kept making the video games but cancelled
the rpg).

The character drawings and the action scenes were really great but the storyline is just a bread and butter thing... and for god's sake... what were they thinking? here in Brazil don't exist 'cana-de-açucar' (damn... i just don't know it's name.. but it is the bamboo-like plant that you extract sugar)fields no more... and even if they existed they were on the countryside...  :pppp

You bet.

It's sort of these situations that allow the use of the ancient
incantation: "Them's fightin' words!".

Personally, I'm still riding the 3E high - but it seems that I have to
stop making 3E NPCs, and rather go for fighters.

And perhaps I'll write down the system we're using. I know you haven't yet
forgiven me for writing that "the SF system out of the book sucks". I
still mean it, but I haven't really said anything about how *we* do it :-)

Well now that we're no this topic, I work as a unix system administrator
for a major ISP in Canada....not that that helps with HTML, Java or Perl

But if you ever need a webserver setup...... :)

Just look at the string of posts following your compliment to my

having many sites is what drives each one to be better.
If we just had one site there would be no friendly competition:)

plus with many sites, if a web surfer doesn't like 1 he can go to
another.

Honerable mention Pittman? I consider your site as good as mine:)
and you skarsten, and lierbakk, and hoffman, and conkle, and
musashi, and all of you (you most of all scarecrow). I say so right
on my "thanks" page where I explain how we raise the bar for each
other:)
http://www.geocities.com/necro6hit/thanks.html

I like having many sites, each has a different flavor and with 1 site
theres just vanilla. I won't contribute my conversions to anyones
site, because if you have to make your own, then theres more variety,
which is good. I like to see how other ppl convert moves and if
everyone uses mine I never would.

You want your visitors to have access to my stuff you can put a big
fat link to my page right there on yours, and I will gladly return
the favor.

I will offer you any help you want with html and layout but the best
way for you to thank us siteowners who create content is to make your
own original content for us to like. Maybe I'll like how you convert
things BETTER than how I do. Maybe youll think of something I've
always missed.

If you want to make a site with your ideas I'd love to see them.
If you want to make a site with "everything",,,,
make a links page.

-Matt

p.s. My site will have my own npc's moves and house rules etc... even
a couple of adventure modules. but I have to get off my ass and
update. Maybe if you make a killer site that puts mine to shame I
will be driven to rise from this ass of mine and update to keep up
with the pack:):)
