Subject: Rinaldo, could I get Cross' overall results?
Hey Rinaldo-
I've been out of the country in Australia, and recently dealing with
my father passing away, so I'm totally lost as to the results of
Gateway 2. I think Cross lost to Rostov in Group 7. Could you give
my the total experience, honor, and glory that I earned or lost?
Thanks!

Subject: Update
Hi all!
Iv'e updated my page with a link to street fighter ultra, updated
versions of some material i already posted, plus my final version of
Adon's story and sheet and the new maneuvers he brings with him.
Hopefully I will be doing weekly updates with a the story and moves
and sheet of one or more fighters from the street fighter world.
I'm going in alphabetical order so next week is Akuma:)
I hope your all looking forward to it?
Check it out, and feel free to drop me some feedback if you love or
hate anything. (speed of updates is directly proportional to amount
of feedback, for those of you who don't have pages)

Well Warrior's Pride is the monthly (Ha!) E-newsletter for the list. It is
archived in the Files section of egroups and is available for any list member
to read (issues 1-4 are there, in .txt and .doc formats).
Or are you asking, what year will it come out?
A reasonable question, and the answer will hopefully be, this one.

Yea I mean whatever I can try typing them in by hand which would take just this side of forever and I could always try scanning them in, but like JJ said I don't think that will work very well. But however you want to try and do it is fine with me just realize that this will probably take a very long time even if a bunch of people are doing it because not everybody has the same books.

Actually I don't but my school does and they just got a new one I went down to try it and it goes pretty fast its just that when OCR converts it it gets a lot and I mean alot of errors I went through just the first page of a book for about an hour and a half and didn't even get through it is how messed up it was. So I think we need to try something else.

I tried to text scan some documents a while back that didn't involve fancy printing methods and still wound up spending enough time on manual error correction to have matched my typing speed to have done it by hand.

Columbia COULD soak it, its just that she only has a stamina of 2.
Frankenfurter the Transvestite on the other hand has an 8 stamina
("in just seven days", SHEESH) but was still killed by the blast.
This ability is unique only to Riff Raffs laser because unlike most
lasers it is "capable of emitting a beam of pure anti-matter" (as
Doctor Scott puts it) and I'm sure anyone who passed high school
science knows about the destructive energies released when you mix
transvestites and anti-matter. Its not pretty...

Took about 5 minutes.
Here 's the result. I didn't really check it to the original, but glancing

Interesting... the text is pretty damn good... it just lacks the finesse and
the artwork of the original books... but it is great for those who dont have
the books

Well that kind of makes all of us useless except for the contenders. I mean geez the OCR I used didn't even come close to that I guess it depends on the quality of OCR you have to work with.

I use Xerox's "Textbridge". I've been pretty happy
with it...
:->
Mind you, doing this was academic. I just wanted to
see if the OCR would work. I scanned alot of info once before for a gent from
Brazil (I think he's on this group). Not again. It took -weeks- for me
to get around to all of it. And that was leaving it all as pics.
GAAA!

I
don't know what you're using... I just threw (literally) this in my
scanner, OCR'd it to WORD...then ran it thru a check. Took about 5
minutes.
Here 's the result. I didn't really check it to the
original, but glancing over it, it looks 'k...

Yo guys:
I want to share a Street Fighter II: Animation Movie trailer I made in
college as an editing exercise for one of my classes. It was done on 1998
and it is on MPEG with a size of 20.8 MB. If there is any e-mail I could
send it. Just to see if you guys liked it or not. Please let me know!!
Erik

Mind you, doing this was academic. I just wanted to see if the OCR would work. I scanned alot of info once before for a gent from Brazil (I think he's on this group). Not again. It took -weeks- for me to get around to all of it. And that was leaving it all as pics. GAAA!
Subject: Re: [streetfighter] Re: I Would Like To Help
Well that kind of makes all of us useless except for the contenders. I mean geez the OCR I used didn't even come close to that I guess it depends on the quality of OCR you have to work with.
I don't know what you're using... I just threw (literally) this in my scanner, OCR'd it to WORD...then ran it thru a check. Took about 5 minutes.
Here 's the result. I didn't really check it to the original, but glancing over it, it looks 'k...

Your use of Yahoo! Groups is subject to the Yahoo! Terms of Service. > ATTACHMENT part 2 application/msword name=Capoeira.doc
I will experiment with ocr text scanning and see if i can improve my
scanners performance in this area.
then we find out who all is willing to help, divide the work, and go
about typing and scanning.
I propose we leave out the sections that are in EVERY white wolf
book. the parts about how to roll dice and asign difficulty in
general etc..
where that section should be we can prompt the reader to go out and
buy a white wolf book to get the information. This might improve
their image of us if sum1 at ww ever finds it posted.
we can also explain near the front that we did this and so this is
not a COMPLETE set of rules untill suplemented by buying some other
white wolf product. that should make them happy instead of having
them raise hell if they find their work duplicated.

gotta pen handy? Oh wait...this is an email.
Here are the stats for the Experimental Lightnife used in Perfect Warrior.
Shaped roughly likfe a smooth black flashlight mounted with a pistol grip,
this gun is practically silent; when fired it makes a quiet electronic
squeal that sounds roughly like a camera flash recharging. It is also very
painful: it emits a cutting beam which burns for five dice of aggrevated
damageand lasts for up to six turns, like a sustained hold. (The firer just
keeps pointing the laser at it's target). After six turns worth of firing,
the power source in the laser burns out. The attacker does not have to fire
all six turns' worth consecutively, however---releasing the triger turns the
beam off. PUtting something between the firer and the targets stops the
damage until the firer gets around the object, the power source burns out,
or the laser burns through the object, whichever comes first.
WEAPON SPEED DAMAGE
Lightknife +2 5 (aggrevated)
