We could say that when Sagat fought Ryu, Johnson & Johnson was sponsoring
him in the Grand Master Championship Tournament. After all, they gave Sagat
free "BIG" Band Aid for the "Big Scar Over his Chest" left by Ryu's
Shoryuken. Nice eh! What do you think?

Ok I remeber saving this letter a while ago and ment to reply.
Theres a few things you guys have to know before you put supers and stuff in
your games.
1.) In the alpha series the characters do less damage than in SF2.
So if you add supers you might want to reduce damage in certain
number of ways.
2)In the Alpha Series Ryus firebakk does less damage the further away it
goes. I suggest reducing damage by 1 /hex till exhausted.

Ouch, do you know Vic Venom?
No, actually it's supposed to get people to play Punch Defense so they get
crushed by a Kick ^^
But seriously, as it goes, an announcer impressed with his strength and
noticing the "Panzer" motif of fighting outfit in an early fight of his,
failed to think through the fact that he never punched in his matches and
dubbed him that title.
He kind of screws his face up when he hears the title called, but it stuck.
It's better than pansy fist. He figures he wants to keep it, he'd better
get his Punch up quick or it'll become "Panzer Kick" or just plain "Panzer."
Note that this character wasn't specifically made for the Gateway
Tournament. He's my secondary RPG character who I've never had the chance
to play.
As Storyteller and player, I often like to give titles that are only half
appropriate since nicknames/titles are not always things you choose, they
choose you.
Actually, it's in his character concept to buy Punch. However, you can't
buy everything as a starting character, and Panzer Foot sounds lame. Plus,
he has some German heritage and admires the strength of tanks.
Not that I'm saying all the other suggested reasons aren't valid too.

I actually figured he meant because he owned the Japanese Dreamcast edition
of the game and didn't speak Japanese (the case with me).
I wish what the characters in the game said was in a FAQ because I don't
know ^^
Perhaps the most beautiful 2D game made along with Guilty Gear X (which is
also perhaps the cheesiest game I've seen - the bosses are incredulous).

HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT WHAT GILL SAID?
JUST TO KNOW...
ERIK : Technically that is an error on Rob's Part. But I know
what he meant. He's reffering to a quote from dialoge that goes on between Chun
Li and URIEN during the second to last fight in Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
It follows like
so: "Chunli: I don't know what your scheme is but I can't let you harm
small children! Where is that
girl?" "Urien : How could you ask to see me for such a trifle
thing? You must be a
fool! I will give you the girl but
you must entertain me in return.
Your legendary legs are said to have destroyed "that
organization" I'll have to find
out for myself if the rumors about you are true."
Amitedly its pretty ambiguous, but any SF'er of concequence will infer that
Urien is talking about Shadoloo. This is probably the most
enigmatic/popular/best poential for expansion Issue in all of Street
Fighter's Mythology. A close second are the full origins of Bison and
Gouki/Akuma. =)

ROB : Ehh.... I Accidentlly sent that message a while back, and I sent
in another message warning y'all bout my stupidity =P
That was a message I was sending to another street fighter
ring I'm a part of (one for the vid games rather than the RPG). That message I
acctually wrote 2-3 years ago, as you might be able to tell by the
games I'm reffering to. Someone just asked me to send it in again. I
don't know what you mean when you say "...but we have no proof for the Alpha
series and 3rd strike." You will have to elaborate. Admittedly we do not know
exactly how far in the future SF3 takes place, but continuing with my
4-year-RPG-logic, it would fall in 1998. We can say with some reason that
it's atleast 3 years after SF2: Ken's son Mel is slated at 3 years old in SF3.
Since he wasn't married (and Eliza didn't look pregnant when they wed) he
probably wouldn't have had Mel till after the Tourny. As always you can find all
my crazy Ideas in the files section under the TImes docs. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/streetfighter/files/Timeline.txt.

Hello, everyone. It's me
again. Well, I've been working on my SNK VS. Capcom game, and thanks to
help of many (Joe Pittman, Erik Justiniano and Chris Nelson, among others), I
have developed a preliminary character sheet, as well as a revised version of
Ryu.
Right now I would like a few
people to take a look at my character sheet design and tell me any problems they
see with it. If interested, e-mail me at herder@... telling me which
format you prefer. I can send it in a .wps, .doc or .txt
format.

Hey Matt thanks for sending me the chart, I will use this in the fights.
This weekend people must tell me if will go on with
their current pattern or will change it (some folks already do this) but I give
time for others of course next weekend ready or not I will make the bouts with
the last pattern of fighters. Thanks and train hard.
About Glory and Honor, now I have the chart so I
will give this stuff soon (in the middle of week), so wait if
patience.

You know, I love it when people do stuff like this. Of course, there's
probably a 98% chance that it's a fake message and that he sent the real
tactics to Rinaldo, but that just makes it cooler.
Do you believe this message? Do you discard it? We've moved way past Tactics
and Strategy and jumped straight to Psychology, and that's what makes this so
neat!

Just remember, fellow fist-fighters, the trick here is moderation. If just
before every fight you send out a 'same strategy, Rinaldo. Thanks bunches.'
message to the list, they'll just be ignored, even if some of them are for
real.
Heck, if they're been a lot of messages like this, your message will still
probably be ignored, even if it's the first of it's kind to come from you.
So remember, keep fakey messages in reserve for those strategic bouts, 'cause
if you don't I'll rapidly be over my file size limit. And that's just not right.

Subject: the end of an era
hello everyone. those of you who have been scratching your noggins
wondering where the hell I've been lately can now consider yourselves
fulfilled.
* my DSL provider went boom. as a result, I found myself unable to really
use the Internet for about two weeks.
* I am now happily surfing again via cable modem, but for reasons that have
yet to be explained, Sprynet (my E-mail provider of about four years now)
won't play nice with Outlook downloading through Optimum Online, and
Sprynet's tech support is at a loss to understand the nature of the problem,
let alone to explain why.
* I can still wade through my E-mail on the web, but I don't want to.
Zo. I am going to be cutting the cord on Sprynet sometime in the near
future. skarsten@optonline is my new address, however since they do not
offer web space if I pull the plug Street Fighter Central will go the way of
the dodo. Considering I haven't done anything with the page in ages anyway,
it'll be no big loss. consider yourselves warned.
I may revive the site in the future, but for now, I won't bother. I won't
put it on Geocities or whatnot because, well, popup ads and watermarks give
me hives.
anyway, we now return you to your regularly scheduled ponderings about Kick
Defense. rest easily, for I am still here, if only in spirit and not in
mind or body.

Yes thanks for fixing my statement Andy. You right.
but one more thing. Im pretty sure gill mentions something after aswell when
he meets Chun Li. Do you know what it was?
It is interesting though. Lets presume Urien is talking about
Shadoloo...While he did mention that chun i took out Shadoloo, he doesnt say
that she took out Bison.

Hi rinaldo.
The only one sighted after SF1 is supposedly Geki. He is supposedly seen in
the little ninja girls stage in SF3, I forget her name right now.
There is also a possible sighting of eagle in SFA. now this is my personal
opinion and has no basis. If you play SFa and beat it with chun li, she gets
knocked out and put into a hospital. while in bed a blond man with a
moustache is standing next to the bed. He looks somewhat like eagle.

Hey all-
I was just kind of toying around with ideas in my head, generally
character concepts and the like. Has anyone thought about how to
write up the Cycloids in SF EX+ Alpha? I was thinking, given their
somewhat robotic nature, perhaps Cybernetics covers it. Then I began
to wonder if it wouldn't be possible to create characters of 'solid
light' (similar to what the Green Lantern creates with his ring).
This probably enters into the realm of an Aberrant/SF crossover, but
I'm just looking for thoughts, ideas... even strange, new character
ideas.
