M, no. The Hurricane Kick is the same speed while Whirlwind is 2 slower.
Air Hurricane does have a move bonus which is nice although the speed is
2 less than Turbo Spin. Clothesline.
I think you should always try to anticipate answers
that you will not have in your available choices. For example, I cannot the poll
with the "supers" question. I feel that Maneuvers can reflect "super" moves, if
given a high level of requirements and such (like in my CHAMPS system), but that
super moves not controlled in this manner can get out of hand quickly. However,
there was no "other" category to vote on.

Version 4 of my Combat Chart Generator is out now.
Get it by clicking the picture of necro @ http://www.geocities.com/necro6hit/ or in the "Files" section of this
yahoo group @ Files > Matt's > Script.
Quote from the readme file:
---------------------------------------------------
Version 4
Has all the moves from EVERY book!
Fixed printing bug1
Accomodates Animal Hybrids
Accomodates Cyborgs
Fixed a shitload of typo's
Seperated the script and the html file. This should make the page
load faster when I put it online. It took to long before because the
script being in the html made it so BIG.
3) Next version will include:
In the next version, there will be Dhalsim... You will be able to
leave him active or disable him. He uses his superhuman perception
to catch errors and will automatically give you the prerequisites for
any move you select. Example: You pick Lightning Leg. Dhalsim raises
your kick to 4 and gives you double hit kick. An alert box will also
pop up telling you what it just did. On the printout page it will
say below what stats you had whether Dhalsim was active or not (for
the GM).
---------------------------------------------------
Enjoy,
Matt

I love it. I think it's better than the wheel.
Okay, not the wheel, but it's way up there. I was thinking of making a list of
"other Maneuvers you will have based on this Maneuver", but I thought my regular
list of Maneuvers with the "to learn" section already covered it. I think adding
it to the program was an excellent idea.
As a matter of fact, you have inspired me to
blow the dust of Dogs of War and add a few new features. First, I have posted
the mailing list tournament rules there. I also added the Crouching Block to the
Maneuvers list, and the NPC scores chart I made for the files section became
part of the page as well.

I was thinking about making some blank text boxes under each
technique where you could add in some of your own custom moves but
that gets complicated when you have moves that move twice like the
double dread kick or the beast roll.
I'll probly figure something out

You will now find 2 of the fighters in the
tournament on Dogs of War, more of them to come as I get descriptions. As the
new tournament begins, the fighters will start with a "clean slate" in regards
to wins and losses. I will update as the new tourney goes along.

I dont know if youve checked out my javascript yet or not rinaldo but
it would probably make your tournament easier to run.
also,
will you be telling us how the fights went on a round by round basis
or just who won?
Itd be cool to draw some of the fights going on, Pittman would
probably as well

Rinaldo, when's the deadline entry date? I'd like to enter a
fighter, if possible... not sure when I can type him up, though
(soon, but is this a first come first serve basis?).

Nice quick sketch of Artemis...wonder what she
looks like in full (hint, hint...)? Seriously, though, you did a
good job.
Thanx.

are worth the search!
I was kidding, Rinaldo. :) After all, she made it to the championship and
she *wasn't* a Shotoclone or Crunch Fighter. That's pretty impressive. If
I'd ditched my pose-during-dizzy strategy like I originally planned, I would
have won, too...

I would like to make a sketch of the fighter in the
tournament. Please send me the description of your fighter(if he does not appear
on Dogs of War already) and I will draw him, for FREE, and add him to the page.
You don't get a better offer than that, folks.
All actions have counter reaction... Well both fighters are good to reach
the title luck and dice appear in the scene.
