Hey, I can't wait for the tournament to begin. But I was wondering, it's
been a while since I wrote up the stuff for Billy "The Blimp" Berstein and I
was wondering if you needed anything from me before his fight.

I pose this to all on the list: What was your favorite SF character
you ever created? Keep in mind, this means NOT pre-gen (ie, Ryu,
Guile, Garun Meister, etc.) but YOUR OWN creation. And it doesn't
necessarily have to be your current character... just the one you
played that you remembered as being especially fun or interesting.
Mine?
Good question. Simple answer. Me. :)
That isn't conceit. I basically just did up a romaticized/heroic
version of me (well, newbie character, anyway). It was a lot of fun,
addressing issues like "Would I have this skill? How fast am I?
Would I know how to do this?"
I even have 1 dot in Firearms, just because of military training. :)
I especially like it, because it's kind o' cool looking at your sheet
and seeing yourself! :)

Well, I GM'd all the local games, so I don't have many characters, but
I have to say my favoritre fighter was a guy named Jim Savans. At
their first tournament, he literally jumped into the ring from the
crowd. The announcer asked his name, and he answered "Jim. Jim
Savans". Trying to be all cool and James Bond ish. What he didn't
expect was the ring announcer to think his name was Jim-Jim Savans.
The character was referred to as Jim-Jim from then on in. Only
character I know to get a woman tag team so pissed off at him, they,
well, they both kicked him in the nuts. AT THE SAME TIME.. from
different sides!
I ruled that the two levels of damage done in that move were
aggravated <G>

cool I'll try to download it, are you a gm (storyteller) or player??
yeah I was generally thinking about free use of normal fireballs and
stuff but moves like the inferno strike would burn health, that's
really a "do or die" situation!! and storytellers should play it as
such..what you think??

when I meade the x-men, before i heard of you guys this is what I did
for cyclops, I actually gave him free use of his optic blast
I just put the stats from the electro laser from the robot (secrets

shadoloo)
if he wanted to do a mega optic blast, it would burn 3 health
and put 15d10 on it
if he were to get more experienced, I would put a repeating fireball
in the blast so he could hit multiple opponents
for rogue
I just turned the leech power around
my player didn't want the real rogue, so I worked something out
rogue can absorb 3 dots of her adversaries physical attribues
and keep it for 2 rounds
for wolverine
his regeneration works around the clock
so I fixed it so that he regenerates 2 health back every round
he's a mutie!! hey!

None of the above. I have a gaming group, but we
get together quite rarely for DnD (ugh, but they love it).
I bought all the Street Fighter books a long
time ago and loved them, and used to run games with a friend of mine who moved.
The system is the best out there, not counting the times when the books left
rules out or was unclear on explanations. I was hooked. I made my page and all
other materials as a love of labor, not, unfortunatly, for a gaming group of any
kind. Rinaldo lets me fight, though, so that's cool!

You mean the Maneuver would use Health instead of
Chi or Willpower? Weird. Dangerous. An excellent suggestion for future Maneuver
Costs for CHAMPS II (if there is enough interest to warrent such a
work).

Well, since you are asking about it, i am running a street fighter group in
which all of the characters could easily take out any of the world warriors.
all of the characters have superhuman stats and loads of maneuvers. i
eventually had to remove them from the "normal" street fighter universe and
send them to an alternate dimension where anyone working for shadowloo (how
EXACTLY do you spell it? now THAT'S a question) has access to the psycho
drive which gives practically limitless chi and willpower and they have
devastating new moves to boot. my players barely survived a fight with
super versions of cammy, juli, juni, and doctrine dark (SFEX) with the help
of cracker jack. another of my favorites was when my characters went to
alternate las vegas and went to strip club owned by Hugo Andore and Poison
(Final Fight) called "the golden tassle" where all the dancers fought with
"interesting" moves. that's all i have to share for now.

rollerblades while she fights and flirts with every character she meets male
or female to get what she wants.
