try ZDNET, they have a free compiler Liberty Basic Lite, it may offer enough

Go to http://computers.yahoo.com/computers/zdshare/ then search for it

Don't the rules say you can only spend one point of chi or willpower in one
turn? I know there are two willpower moves & two chi moves, but that would
be a special case.

You screwed up the fight!!! I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU!!! FIRST OF ALL,
Dmitri's Turbo Spinning clothesline in combo outraces blocks (They just
have to take it, unless his dex is like 8), secondly I SPECIFICLY told you
Dmitri aborts during multi hits LIKE THE TUMBLING ATTACK. THIRDLY, My
character has LIGHT FEET, his Iron Claw would have moved FOUR HEXES and hit
Julian. . . . .YOU COMPLETELY screwed up your ESQUIVES, it only avoids if
you interrupt, and his speed was TOO SLOW TO INTERRUPT DMITRI. . .
.Basicly, I lost because you were an idiot. . . . . .remove my character

You undertsand why the Block Can't outrace the Turbo Spinning clothesline
right? Block goes off at a Speed +4, Dmitri's Move (remember, it's comboed)
goes off at Speed +5, so you can't block it, even if you abort. . . .

No no he have speed to interrupt with esquives he got musical acompaniemtent too, hey give a time with a block he have dex 7 he have block 11 and he block normal in other turn so he have +2 in any action and see a multiple impact manuver he make a abort to crouching block at speed 13 and +1 musical acompaniment 14 in the final more than your 12, in the iron Claw i miss, He block the tumble attack this your order.
All right you have the rights to stay mad like i said before this just in test phase and everyone is human and can comit mistakes, I can make this again but now I must clear my head and hey if I desire to hear  a offense from a guy from other side of world I just ask, sorry Mr.perfect you don´t commit mistakes you have all reason in the planet but don´t offense me I don´t known to your reason to this treatment but anyway I remove you from this but if is the way you treat the persons you don´t known... I must ask how you find friends? Sorry and don´t worry, and I don´t reply your offense because I don´t write to the list to ofend anyone just to have fun and learn more and I forget to say I make this stuff without the source books I don´t have any of them I use net information sorry If I don´t have the info you have.
I want to say this is a pleasure but it isn´t. I don´t want a enemy what I have to do ask for pardon? You never make a mistake in your entire life?

Actually, I'd say remove him from the list if I was moderator. Sure
Renaldo makes mistakes... all of us do. These are friendly fights to
point out those things, not lambaste someone who is doing something for us
at no charge during his free time. It's just a game, and not worth all
that, and the name calling IMHO. It's happened to all of us, not just
you, and Renaldo is good about trying to fix it.

Hey, man. Like you said, everyone makes mistakes. I think you have been
doing an outstanding job, and even if someone is more knowledgeable about
the rules, fact is that you stood up and did this for us. I'm really
grateful, as I've never had anyone to GM it for me, and have been enjoying
it.

To put it plainly, I just wnated to say thanks, and let you know your

Ok, As the moderator of this list, I have been incredibly grateful that there are hardly ever any flamewars.
However, insulting anyone on this list will not be tolerated at all.  Mistakes happen its no reason to insult anyone.  However Brian has apologized so Im not going to remove him from the list.  Please people, we are here to talk about Street Fighter RPG, and have fun, lets remember that.

The only thing I want is peace I disagree the game is good I have some guilty in this english isn´t my native tongue and sometimes I make confusion with words because that in the tactis the people must be very clear (I don´t say you´re not clear) but about light feet I understand this you gain +1 in move or .+3 if you spend 1 willpower but in the tactics you don´t spend this willpower point. but anyway I hope for a peace time now and sorry if I make you angry, I don´t want a enemy in the list just this.

Subject: Thanks for everybody.
I´d like to say is very good the e-mails of support from the list people I´m
very glad in read this it´s a way to find the determination again.
I known when I start the friendly fights in the last year the problems and what
can happen this a two or better say three persons game me the judge (manager) and
the players of course when someone lost this could be many reasons and I want say I
can be one of them, play this isn´t like the normal table game with live talk people
it´s very different because this the note list must be huge to cover any aspect of a
fight in many situations this result in the win or lost of fighter I can say
examples but no I have much problems for one day. I must face it like a man and
acept in this "job" I low the guard and wait if I miss I must acept the "slap" at my
face, this happen before the errors and people with all rights tell me where I miss
and I try to fix them, but in this last mail if I stand at the side this guy I think
he will in the god´s name give me a major lesson in brawling department. That
ofensive mail realy let me down you known when you fell the guilt at your head and
can´t remove...
Well he don´t want play anymore what I can do nothing except say sorry but what is
done is done. I must be carefull in the future and put a litle number of npc´s in
the game. Thanks to everybody and if someone ask to me I don´t remove B.Fish from
the list he have the right to stay mad with me and express his ideas the only thing
I can critic is if he want to low the line he could only e-mail me and avoid a
public dirty discution, Fish explain and express his excuse and I acept and show
here I´m sorry about all the troubles I caused.

Subject: Archived Information
I've begun the long process of archiving all the 'man-made' stuff that
gets posted to the list. What I'm creating are 3 seperate documents that
contain all the new moves, new styles and characters that have been posted
to the list in the last 2 years. Once the documents are complete, they'll
be stored in the vault on egroups.

Why am I doing this? A couple reasons. Valuable information tends to get
buried in mail that no one will ever read again. Wouldn't it be nice to
keep some of the stuff on the surface? Another reason is because I want
this information for my own records, so while I'm creating it for myself,
I might as well share it with the ones who posted it. Thirdly...because I
love you guys. :)

Anyhoo, I've just gone through August of 98. There were only 34 messgaes
posted that month and I managed to scrape out 3 characters, 6 moves and 2
new styles. I have a feeling this will take me awhile so please don't
expect to see the document up next weekend. :)

Oh and yes I'll be giving credit where credit is due. Names and dates will
be stamped beside each piece of info I gather.

Hope this is okay with everyone.

Scrath that. I read wrong. July was 34 messages, August was
120. Still pretty good for two months....Anyway, onto September!!

Assembly is low-level instruction code.

C++ is high-level compiled code.

Anyway.

I could easily do an SF:RPG computer game. I'd do it in Java, though.

IF anyone here has any experience with c++ or other assembly languages, you
probably could make one. Course, it would take a while and you would need a
lot of play testers.

Double-buffering and smooth animation is possible without messing with
DirectX and inherent multiplatform support is always a good thing.

Just curious...why Java?
I'll be starting mine up again, as soonas I can get my hands on Visual

Yeah, when I started getting this list together, I emailed a bunch of people
who had SF:RPG web pages and asked if they wanted to join a Street Fighter
RPG Mailing list. Originally we just had everyone's email in our address
book and when we would send a message we would send it to all of them. Man,
that was a pain in the butt. Oh yeah, sorry. It was in 1997, but I dont
think we moved to egoups until 1998.

I believe we moved to egroups in July of 1998. The only way we can get the
info before then is if someone saved it. (I did at one point but decided to
get rid of it...Im kicking myself for it now)

Could you interrupt a sustained hold with a stunt card and a str + grab vs.
wits + focus roll to use shock treatment and possibly dizzy them?

I don't tend to get involved much in the Rule discussions, mostly because
I haven't actually played the RPG in years (but still love it).

However I like this question. In the anime move Blanka did infact use shck
tratement to nuke Zangief's sustained hold. It looked great on
TV. However, in an RPG this would be completely unfair. Characters would
ten to pick up shock reatment for the solepurpose of avoiding sustained
holds.

I forget how the sustained holds rules work...but I don't think you could
abort to a shock treatment either.

Ah well. You can't believe everything you see on TV.
