Hey guys.
I've been playing a lot of SFIII: 3rd Strike lately. Anyone have any ideas
on Makoto's style and moves names are? Matter of fact, if anyone knows the
complete list of maneuvers, feel free to mail me personally. I just happen
to think a style of karate that isn't Dan's or another Shotoclone rocks!

Subject: Npc´s background for Ages Tournament- today: Tom Sawyer
I will put some history for some npc´s in this tournament maybe
someone want make part or use some of this background to make his own, I
already put Colonel Voss now I put one more.
Ps: The words in the background don´t have intention to ofend someone.
Other idea I pick up musics and put with npc´s like a scenario music
isn´t musical acompaniment but give more life to character of course if
the fighter have musical acompaniment this could be his music.

File 2: Tom Sawyer
Date of Birth: 8/10/2020 Edimburgh-Scotland Blood type: O Size: 7’11” 400
lbs.
Description: A huge man with well build muscles, have honest white skin face,
green eyes and red hair, wears a Barman clothes.
Intention with wish: Heal his sick lilte sister.

Quote before figth: Just put himself in a fighting stance
Quote after fight (win): Clean hands like a well done job (Throw garbage
out).
Quote after fight (lost): Smile and go away.

History:

Tom Sawyer is the oldest son of Jonh and Marie Sawyer and they love a
band called Rush, for a coincidence Jonh have the name Sawyer and like his
wife Marie love Rush, they decide to put at their son the name of Tom to be a
specie of good memory of a music called “Tom Sawyer”, the band is in the past
but while Tom is alive at last for the family Sawyer the band Rush will be
remember. The cities are full of polution and the air cars don´t help much,
the society appears the fifth element movie, high buildings and much music,
Tom work in a bar called Abyss he is the barman there with his size and
muscles he is the right people to solve any problem, but size ins´t a good
thing to thrust and Tom find a way to avoid Bruce Lee types he find a Scotish
fighter and begin to train the Highlander Scoth Fighting, and learn powerfull
manuvers, studying and training hard to improve his skills.
A sad fact his litle sister Elisabeth Sawyer get sick, a rare virus from
air polution is a simple thing to solve in the begging but when the time pass
turn in problem the virus attack the body blood circulation and with this
give a sure death, Tom try all doctors but is too late he don´t known what to
do but he with sure go to hell if there have a cure for his sister, but after
this tought he fall asleep and a voice in his mind say if he wants a cure to
his sister , Tom of course say yes and he wake up in a beach and at his front
stay a man with a cloak covering his whole body, he talk about Ages
Tournament, he is the guardian...

I'll allow it only if my NPCs can use it too. I can just see the wine
flowing freely in the streets if I suddenly decided my NPC was having a hard

Of course, you should actually _have_ the experience points (and prereqs) to
buy the maneuver... but you're the GM, so how would they know if they had it or not?

No. We've all gone back to our home planet and have left you behind. We did
this out of mercy, not malice. The other inhabidents of our planet are all
telemarketers, so we thought it best to leave you to cary on the fight for

Hmm...
Makoto eh?

Hayate - QCF punch
Fukiage - DP punch
Oroshi - QCB punch
Tsurugi - QCB kick

SUPERS:
I. Seichuu Sengodan Tsuki - QCFx2 punch
II. Abare Tosonami Kudaki - QCFx2 kick
III. Tanden Renki - QCFx2 punch

Those are all of her moves, that I know of. I don't know what they mean, and
will leave that up to or Japanese-English translaters' (anyone? If not, then
I nominate Steve to figure em out). My understanding of Japanese culture is
poor at best, but she is Japanese and practices SOME form of Karate. It's
obvoiously very different from the Goutetsu Shotokan, by that it's very
methodical and preciese. Forinstance, she doesn't have a foot sweep for ANY
of her crouching kicks. Only standing.

The ones that I'm curious about are Remy, and Q. Remy is supposedly Guile's
son, but he doesn't appear to be in the military. And Q is our first world
worriar Cyborg. Maybe he's like Necro and twelve: Programed for a varienty
of styles.

You to huh? Well, at least my page hasn't moved when I wasn't looking, but
XOOM has either locked me out of my ftp or just changed it so I can't log in
with my default windows/ftp program (but I can with netscape, go figure).
Naturally, I can't delete my files with netscape, but I could be a lot worse

I've updated my index w/ your new url (at least it's shorter, gotta look on the

Quote after fight (lost): "Sadness but it´s my reality"

History:

A much time ago he have a name, a family, a home to go, but now only sadness
and evil is around him. All things start in 1980 in when the first sargent Bruce
Page one of most patriotic soldiers in the army have enter in a military secret
project the real objective is make the soldier develop his body defense against
diseases and the equip these soldiers with chemical weapons against any military
problems the reason is good but something wrong happen, a bad situation, the
chemical change Page organism and alter his structure the result is a disease
base, now he have the power of contaminate anyone just touching or breathing
near, of course he known this because all the lab persons died. Confused, put
some lab anti contamination clothes and scape in a car at outside and disapear
for some years.
In these years using disguises and using much contacts to talk for him, he
discovered the true, the governament never have the intention to recover him to
his normal state, orders are only kill and recover the body for studies, about
his family their be informed about the death of first sargent Bruce Page in a
secret operation in some country of orient. With rage insinde him, Bruce say to
himself: "I´m dead so just be it". Using his contacts he finaly found a Shadaloo
agent and talk with him about job, and talking with M.Bison (Who see in this guy
a good possibility) he give the mercenary job, now the ancient sargent and
patriot show himself like a guy who hate the U.S and what the better place to
bring a mess to this country working for Shadaloo of course. But before M.Bison
turn around and ask:
Who are you after all and a long distance he remove his mask and say: - I`m the
Plague.
This the begging of much terrorist action and many killing mission, but
M.Bison like to use Plague in killing important people missions, because Plague
have a great hability to disguise himself, he only need breath near his victim or
touch and done, a few minutes later the poor one die of some disease, but this
isn´t the only resourse for attack from The Plague he study much Special Forces
training and can fight very well. One of persons who never stay near (all right
who wants seat at side of this guy?) but this one Vega runs when see Plague come
near (He have fear from any skin disease and he knowns if Plague wants he can
just destroy the precious beauty, and just run away to avoid it). He wants only
take a revange against the governament who betray him and find a cure for his
problem, he already known about Bison fame when he promisse something, but it´s
way, one night he have a dream about a question if he wants just be a normal man
with a normal life, of course think Plague... And he wake up in desert beach with
his work clothes and at his front is a man dressed with a robe and his head is
covered and he can´t see the face, they talk about Ages tournament and this
strange man is the Guardian.
Note: The disease power of the Plague don´t work agains other opponents in the
tournament a courtesy from Guardian powers.

Well, I don't want to spoil the surprise with my character (and it's a big
surprise), so I think that a list of each character's original time/locations
should suffice

My character comes from Japan circa 2494.

Hey.

Well not just sound. If your fighting in complete darkness, your gonna see
that fireball coming at you.

They have also made an interesting little system revolved around the
elemental power air blast, I beleive.

The target character can possibly see the incoming projectile by making a
wits + mysteries roll first.

Dodging bullets is not exactly realistic but the SF system does allow for
it. I find it interesting that when people play Rpgs, they dont consider
that its just as likely that the playe is not dodging,
just getting out of the aim of the attacker.

I know cyberpunk rpg doesnt even let you dodge.

<rant>
I'm unhappy today. I've been attempting to secure the remaining seven
videos from the Ranma 1/2 TV series for years by combing video stores.
Sunday, a friend of mine tells me a local comic book store has the *entire
set* for only $200. This is fantastic, as Viz Video gouges the hell out of
their Ranma videos ($30 for a 50-minute tape compared to normal prices for
feature-length films from anyone else). I rush to the store and ask for the
Ranma TV series pack. The dude hands it over and I fork out the cash, then
dash home. Turns out my friend is a little dense. I am too, apparently,
for making it all the way home without noticing that I'd just purchased not
the TV Series pack, but the Hard Battle pack. Fortunately, I lucked out and
didn't already *have* any of the videos in the pack I just bought. I
decided to keep it, figuring I'd buy them all eventually anyway.

So, genius that I am, I *finally* think "Hey! This is the 21st century!
You can order on-line now! Idiot! Do something useful with that ISDN
connection besides play Unreal Tournament all day." and visit Viz
Communications' web site. Wow! The entire series available for my
online-shopping pleasure!

The credit card comes out and I fill out the order form, ordering volumes
three through nine and asking them to be shipped by Fed-Ex "I want it here
yesterday".

Four days I wait, fidgeting like a small child, to finally round out my
favorite series to completion. The tapes arrived yesterday. Gleefully,
like a kid on Christmas morning, I rip off the plastic wrap on volume three,
heat up some of my fiance's fantastic leftover chili, call over the cat to
occupy my lap, and put the tape in the VCR to begin what is to be a night of
pure, uninterrupted Ranma.

Nothing happens.

I dump the cat on the floor and, with my chili getting cold, go over to the
VCR to investigate.

The damn cassette is busted. There's an enormous hole cracked into there
side of the casing and apparently, my VCR is picky about the structural
integrity of the videos it attempts to run. I'm on the phone with Viz in
five moments, not happy at all. "Send the damaged tape back to us and we'll
replace it," the cheerful woman on the other end of the line tells me. Oh
sure, fantastic! Four days back, a day or two to re-process, and another
four days to re-ship. If I'm lucky, I'll have my tape back in a week and a
half.

Fine, says I. The tape's broke, I have no choice. At least I have six more
to occupy my evening. And all goes well until my fiance gets home from
work, just as I'm placing volume eight in the VCR. I fast-forward through
the adverts and when that so-cute-it-would-be-annoying-if-it-weren't-Ranma
theme song begins, it's unintelligible through the static. I fast-forward
ahead several more times, periodically checking the sound... and it's all
garbage. Like a bad CB radio band.

It is at this point that I understand why people take sniper rifles to the
tops of clock towers.

Out of seven videos I ordered, two were defective. I am now looking
paranoidly at that boxed set I purchased last week, sitting next to all the
other anime and Kung Fu movies I've bought over the past few weeks, having
had no time to sit down and watch them. How many more lemons are sitting
among them? Nancy has reassurred me that we still have all the receipts,
and it is far swifter to return a video to the store then by mail-order...
assuming they still have another copy of what you want to return.

Bah. Look for a writeup of Rhythmic Gymnastics Martial Arts sometime this
weekend.

yep supers can hit multiple times but no more
than say 3 hits per level of the super unless its has
damn hi prerequsits I.E. requires a technique of 7+ or
a damn dificult to learn move such as tumbaling attack
or spinning piledriver as far as custom combos go use
this
system allow them to pull of 2 moves per round per
level of super spent with full standard combo bonuses
from round to round I sugjest only letting them
do one special move in the whole combo because i have
noticed that people tend to use suck ass cheep combos
like Sixtouple cartwheel kicks or repeating fireballs.
which can equal out to a 46 hit combo doing around 155
total dice of damage to someone with a 5 stamina.

Did I read this wrong? I caused her 11 points of damage, she caused me
somewhere like 13 points. Did I knock her out? Did she knock me out?
Grr, loved those THREE damage rolls of one point each...

Out of 95 or so member, we had a vote of 18 people. Very disappointing, i
was hoping for a bigger turnout, at least 50 or so voters. -SIGH-
And on another down note, the vote was a tie.
