Engaged in the typical thuggery that so many of these gangs do, they were part of a B&E circle that was responsible for so much theft in Massachussets at the time. It was Salem, so it was bound to happen eventually - They finally broke in to a Witches apartment and started trashing the place. Little did they know that the woman was home and, further, that she had studied transmogrification spells. Bursting on to the scene, this modern day Circe cast a powerful curse on the boys, sending out a horrible wave of magic with the words 'A beast in thy actions, a beast in thy visage!' The magic drifted in miasmic power over to hit the first person... Jay. He started to twist and turn, bending to the will of this anachronistic sorceress. But Jay was one stubborn S.O.B. The spell worked, but it only worked partway. The spell was broken by Jay's sheer force of will, preventing his friends from being transformed, and a transformed Jay stood wider and much more stooped. His face was fattened and two tusks jutted out from his lower lip, just beneath a new snout. With a roar, the newly created Boar-man went in to a frenzy of destruction in the apartment and a very nervous witch spirited herself away. That hadn't gone as planned. Jay's friends, however, managed to calm him down and sneak him out of the building with a blanket over his head. Jay walked on knuckles as well as feet, like an ape. His life was ruined, as if the spell had worked totally. He couldn't go home, he couldn't get a normal job... He was doomed. At first, he searched for a cure with his gang. In doing so, they had him earn extra money in underground fights with scrubs, taking sucker bets on these dingy bar brawls that they had a friend no-one could beat up. He enjoyed the outlet, even as he was getting more and more frustrated by his search: Turns out the spell would have been easily broken if it had succeeded. Since the magic was altered by the fighting, a counterspell wouldn't work. There were too many variables that could have changed and an attempt at different spells wouldn't result in a bibbity-bobbity-boo Disney sequence: It could turn him inside out and kill him hideously. But Jay, now Tuskor, had learned a place. He was popular, with his charismatic animalistic roars and savage fighting technique. Like some movie monster, he was as slow and inevitable as a freight train. He likes the attention, his gang follows him around and 'helps' him(In fact, his trainer is an only-slightly-better-than-him Lance Garrison, leader of the gang). Personality- |
