Once a member of the fallen Mad Gear gang along with Sodom, Rolento wishes to amass his own army to rule to once crime-ridden streets of Metro City. A former military specialist turned mercenary unit, Rolento is an expert in all types of weapons and in brutal combat.
Rolento entered the second Alpha tournament to recruit soldiers for his war on Metro City. He found an eager Sodom, who wanted him to help with a tiny nuisance, Guy. Angered that the former Mad gear member betrayed them, Rolento quickly agreed to help Sodom defeat him in return for Sodom's subservience in the new Mad Gear Gang.
With Rolento's help,
Sodom nearly defeated Guy, but was halted when Rolento was
intercepted by Ryu. Not so outnumbered, Guy was able to overcome
Sodom while Ryu dealt with Rolento. Defeated, Rolento returned home, and
attempted to reunite the Mad Gear. But upon hearing of the third Alpha tournament, Rolento knew Guy would once again be present, and proceeded to further his diabolical machinations...
