Cody is an American from Metro City. When his girlfriend Jessica was kidnapped, he went after the Mad Gear gang, and was instrumental in it's downfall. Cody and Jessica continued to have a relationship after the fall of Mad Gear. After the collapse of Mad Gear, Cody continued to wander about and beat thugs. This ended with a jail sentence for him. He escaped to find the one thing he longed for most (presumably Jessica.)
