I'm in the same gaming group as Overdrive, so my list is pretty much
identical up to the Immortal thing. I also happen to be the one who will be
running the upcoming SF game(s). In the near future, I'll probably have a
host of SF rules related questions for everyone since I've never run it
before. (I've just been obsessed with the video game). In fact, I've never
really run any RPG before. This should be an interesting experience.

It's put out by Eden Studios, a company from around the Capital region of
NY. You can find them at: http://www.allflesh.com/ .

It's actually (at least partially) created by a pretty cool guy who used to
run a kicka$$ gaming store I used to frequent. And the only game I've ever
playtested that actually was PUBLISHED!

Im a loong time DnD guy. I first discovered white wolf through Mage
the ascension and its still my favorite world of darkness game but
ive also played the other 4. Ive played rifts but it never stuck, my
group recently discovered tenchi and big eyes small mouth and its
pretty fun. Mainly Im Dnd, SF, BESM, but for short spurts ive played
anything from paladium, to car wars to teenagers from outer space.

a quick description of "All flesh must be eaten" to someone who's
never seen it would be "Resident Evil, the RPG"

it can play out differently though because unlike resident evil, a
biohazzard is but one of many reasons there are zombies. its up to
the "zombiemaster" why they have risen.

Lessee, other than Street Fighter, I mainly both play
and run D&D (3rd edition). I also run Big Eyes Small
Mouth (a slammin' cool anime-style RPG) with all of
the worldbooks (Sailor Moon, Dominion: Tank Police,
Demon City Shinjuku, and Tenchi Muyo) for it. I have
also played Cyberpunk, Rifts, Shadowrun, Tunnels and
Trolls, Champions, Marvel Superheroes (original, not
SAGA), DC Heroes, GURPS, Robotech, and Car Wars (yes,
in the right circles, you CAN RP as a driver, a
mechanic, or even an entire corporation!)

I guess you can tell a lot about a person by the games
they play.

LOL. I have played more systems than anyone I have ever met. Dungeons and Dragons, Marvel (both versions), DC Heroes, Rifts, Beyond the Supernatural, Car Wars, Star Frontiers, Star Wars, Traveller, Palladium, Toon, Ghostbusters, Superworld, Street Fighter, Mage, Vampire, Werewolf, Chill, various GURPS games, Star Trek, and those are just off the top of my head. these are games I have ran/played on many occasions, not just once.

Hello all,

was approched with the idea of possibly starting a game for Street Fighter
online (probably on a message board) and was wondering if there were any
such players here who might be interested.

It's only a preliminary idea as I try to see if I'd have the time to keep it
running

Hmm... how to describe Immortal:

The basic idea is that you, yes, you personally, are not
just plain ol' you. You are just the most recent version of
you, the version that needs to wake up and remember what
you used to be. Thousands of years ago, you were a wizard,
or a demigod, or a wolflord or something, powerful beyond
human measure, and blessed (cursed?) with true eternal
life. Death by the sword is not enough to stop you - you'll
always be back. Eventually, you got tired of living, and
knew just about everything you wanted to know. So, you
decided to start a new life, went through a complex ritual
to cause yourself to be reborn, and *pop* a new version of
you emerged, with your original persona just an observer in
the back of your head. Depending on how old your soul is
(some of the first immortals were extremely powerful
dinosaur sorceror kings) this may have happened anywhere
between one time and 50 times! That's a lot of different
people floating around in the back of your head.

Anyway, it's your turn now, and it's time to explore the
universe, and find allies to fight the requisite Great Evil
That Should Not Be. It's a great game, lots of great
background, with a complex system with which to perfectly
describe your characters every action.

Well, it's a bit late for a responce, but when have I ever let that stop me.

Right now I'm playing Amber, a Gundam Wing game with Fuzion, a anime colledge
game with Fuzion, and DnD 3rd. A friend of mine wants to start up a Twisted
Metal game with BESM, and I want to get my DnD 3rd Dyson Sphere campaing going.

Me and my old dnd crew, most arent around anymore, played for 1 week
or so straight.

wed play till more than half fell asleep then the next day wed wake
up and be like "ok where were we" we were younger then and it was
summer, none of us had jobs and wed just play all day, go for walks,
go to the store, go swimming, eat, and be talking in character or
telling the dm what we were doing the WHOLE time all day.

those were the good ole days. I wish i could go back to them. Im
glad my parents were cool and let all my friends crash their for
weeks like that:)

a lot of it was diceless but wed use em when we did anything
important. lol, there were these two stoner girls who played with us
@ the time. they used to go to school with me till they got kicked
out. They were a trip, girls are supposed to be the voice of reason
or something but its been my experience that theyre crazier than the
guys usually!

it was them, the 3 guys from my current group and a weird gay guy we
all hate now. (for good reasons)

Thanks for stirring up old memories with this thread, I wonder what
sum o those guys are doing these days...

I wish I could go back to those times, life sux more and more the

The only problem I see would be the fact that WebRPG
currently does not support hexmaps, although I am
working on an alternative. It would likely be a late
night (weekday-Saturday) game or a Sunday game. Rank 1
fighters, and a team

Hi guys,

I am FINALLY going to be running another Street Fighter adventure very very
soon. But I ran into a snag. I got freaking writers block! All the ideas
I'm coming up with are things I have already done in the past.

Anyone got any good ideas?

Plus maybe this will spark some activity on the list.

I wouldn't run a game with hexmaps. I'd try to accent more of the storytelling and RP aspects of the game. Characters would be done the same way as per usual but not meant to be so rigid in form.

My concept would be a mix of the king of Fighters series with the cast and crew of SF. The setting would be (probably) a city named Bay City (set up much like San Diego) and the players would be, in essence, the stars of the anime. Last time is was ran we had an aspiring yakuza lord, a Bay city cop, a kabuki actor, and a dilletante type merchant caught in a power struggle between rival crime factions, House Stroheim (of the Fatal Fury series), and the lords of Shadowlaw

I have run all the store bough adventures, except Pefect Warrior. We

The players have only ever met Sagat and Cammy. Most of my adventures have
been more like Hong Kong movies. Tournaments are not a very big part of my
adventures. Most of our fights are street fights against gang members,
yakuza, mafia, thugs, ninja and of course other street fighters.

They have done the typical find the powerful artifact adventure rescue the
innocent person adventure. That kind of thing.

Ok so throw them for a loop and do a tournament
adventure, Let the poor bastards get some rank and
renown as fighters for once, you could throw some plot
into the mix. For example the Fight could end betwean
two world warriors Like Lets say Ryu and Vega, Anyway
Bison has the neferious plot to Imprisson Ryu untill
After the next world warriors tournament he has sagat
Beat the livving crap out of Some low rank fighters
and Ryu is Pinned with the crime. M-Bison is mind
controlling the Poor wariors into Fraiming poor ryu
and blemish his perfect record and dishonor him. The
characters have to help. If thay win thay get a
valuable contact in the form of ryu. If thay fail than
bison will surly destroy the good name of ryu and Will
most likly win the next world warrior tournament.

I think everyone with a site who is on this list should add their

Hell I forgot all about "STreet Fighter Ultra" untill I rediscovered

I guess a lot of ppl dont touch the bookmarks section because some

Look play without a hex map can be possible but the position work (fighters, enemy stuff) must be done with the mind and all folks will lost the positions very quickly.

E essim, surgiria a
possibilidade de ocorrer jogos online. e aí que tal?

If Warriors' Pride back issues are still available in the files section of
Yahoo, search out the issue with the article on "Gun Gods".

      personally, I use the following;

(note that I allow fighters who begin combat with guns drawn to immediately
fire, not waste a round as stated in the main rulebook. gunmen have enough
      problems without losing a round.)

Fast Draw (Firearms 2) - A character may attack with an undrawn gun on the
first round of combat as if he began the fight with the gun already drawn.
If the gun was already drawn, the gunman may attack with a +3 bonus to speed
      on the first round only. This bonus is cumulative with any firearm attack;
a player can make an Akimbo Leaping Shot with a +3 speed bonus on the first
      round if he desires.

Akimbo Weapons (Firearms 2, Wits 3) - A character brandishing two weapons
may make one attack with each at their full die pool, at either one or two
targets. May be paired with Leaping Shot, similar to pairing a Basic Attack
with Jump (see Combat chapter of main rulebook for examples on this).

Leaping Shot (Firearms 2, Jump, Athletics 2) - Characters using Leaping Shot
can fire while jumping. This attack dodges projectiles as per Jump.

      Automatic Fire;

Guns capable of automatic fire can be fired in 3-shot, Short Burst, or Full
Auto. Short Bursts and Full Auto can be split among multiple targets (see
      below); 3-shot attacks cannot.

      Attack modifiers;

      3-shot (+0/+1/-)
Short Burst (+0/+3/-) (costs 1/3 of the weapon's remaining bullets; if at
less than 1/3 total a burst cannot be attempted)
Full Auto (+0/+6/-) (costs the entire clip; may only be used with 2/3 or
      greater ammo remaining)

Short bursts are dodged (with Jump, et al) at difficulty 8 instead of 6.
Long bursts cannot be dodged except by taking cover (ie, putting something
bulletproof in between the gunner and his target). In addition, bursts
raise the difficulty of using Missile Reflection to 8 for a short burst and
      9 for full auto.

(I don't have the rules in front of me; if I recall correctly, all rolls for
Missile Reflection are normally at difficulty six with gunfire requiring
      three successes to deflect.)

in none of books is mentioned of thrown weapons have or haven't jab, strong, fierce, bersek, parry and other maneuvers; but in the first book the Slash Hat (Frisbee) is showed separated from the others weapons
and it would strange that they could make all this
what do you think about it?

Look play without a hex map can be possible but the position work (fighters,

Simple numbers game. Count the Arena as a number of hexes equal to it's
length. The video game is played that way too. Then whenever a move is
played the player only has to remember the number of the hex he's in. If
one PC starts in hex 3 and the other starts in hex 12 then there's 9 hexes
between them and after each move they only need to subtract or add the
Movement of the maneuver to the number of the hex they're in to find out
      where they end up.

this is on my list of things to do.
(so it will probly never get done)
but i was gonna make 2 styles of gunplay. short and long range.
      (Woo fu and Zen Sniper?)
      with tons of moves

heres some ideas if that helps you to make some

      2 direction shot (swordfish)
The ole bullet in the barrel (get smart)
shoot their gun outta there hand (police sniper tactic)
blow your friggin head off (enemy @ the gates [+7 damage sniper move, req many rounds of aim and stealth rolls])
      jumping shot (matrix)
      pistol whip (w/ punch)
      ricochet shot (robocop)
throw the gun (thrown weapon move for out of ammo)
shot on the run (+ to movement)
quickdraw (dont have to play gun card a round in advance)
      evasive action (matrix falling backwards)
falling lead (delayed shot a-la fourth o july in mexico)
spray (semi auto move that targets multiple hexes)
human sheild (hostage grab move to block w/ them)

and thats jes off the top o my head

Actually depending on how fantistic you like to get
before our Streetfighter game slowed down we did the
gauntlet with the five gems umm.. if you don't know
what that it is based off of the comic books with
thanos, doom, and adam warlock i think his name is and
they are playing are around with five gems that are
very powerful it was also made into a semi game for
the Super Nes i think called War of the Gems. Anyway
it worked pretty well for us it took a few sessions
and the storyline turned out pretty good. Just an
      idea.
