gotta pen handy? Oh wait...this is an email.

Here are the stats for the Experimental Lightnife used in Perfect Warrior.

Shaped roughly likfe a smooth black flashlight mounted with a pistol grip,
this gun is practically silent; when fired it makes a quiet electronic
squeal that sounds roughly like a camera flash recharging. It is also very
painful: it emits a cutting beam which burns for five dice of aggrevated
damageand lasts for up to six turns, like a sustained hold. (The firer just
keeps pointing the laser at it's target). After six turns worth of firing,
the power source in the laser burns out. The attacker does not have to fire
all six turns' worth consecutively, however---releasing the triger turns the
beam off. PUtting something between the firer and the targets stops the
damage until the firer gets around the object, the power source burns out,
or the laser burns through the object, whichever comes first.

WEAPON SPEED DAMAGE
Lightknife +2 5 (aggrevated)

As a former Geocitizen, here's my guess on what happened...

Step one: Someone complained about your webpage.

Step two: They took your webpage down, this is the important part, you can tell
by the all caps, WITHOUT CHECKING TO SEE IF THE COMPLAINT WAS VALID!!

Three guesses why I'm a former geocitizen. And yes, I'm still a little sore
about that.

You're files are almost certainly still on their servers, mine were and as soon
as I started raising hell they checked it out and restored my pages.

Why do they do this? Maybe because they're afraid of lawsuits, but more likely
because they can.

"12. TERMINATION
You agree that Yahoo, in its sole discretion, may terminate your password,
Yahoo GeoCities Site, use of the Service or use of any other Yahoo service, and
remove and discard any Content within the Service, for any reason, including,
without limitation, for lack of use or if Yahoo believes that you have violated
or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the TOS. Yahoo may also in
its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing the Service, or any
part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of your
access to the Service under any provision of this TOS may be effected without
prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that Yahoo may immediately deactivate
or delete your Yahoo GeoCities Site and all related information and files in
your Yahoo GeoCities Site and/or bar any further access to such files or the
Service. Further, you agree that Yahoo shall not be liable to you or any
third-party for any termination of your access to the Service."

from http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/geoterms.html

Did you e-mail their complaint department yet? I'll give them this much, they
were pretty prompt in restoring my pages.

The way I see it now, you've got two choices:

1) Harass Geocities into giving you back you're pages. This one shouldn't be
too hard. Like I said, they're pretty swift there. Or at least they were
before the Yahoo buyout.

2) Make obsceene jestures in Geocities' reletive location and move elsewhere.
You've got backups so this should be a cakewalk as well. I hear workspot's
nice this time of year.

Hi Chris,
thanks for your advice.

yes i've already complained and Im waiting to see if they do anything
about it.

I might move anyway though. man I gotta get a redirection url. that
way i can use it on all my material and won't have to change all the
links home everytime I move...

I didn't know thats why you left geocities. did you find out who
complained or what about in your instance? I think they should at
least tell you that much if someone makes a false claim.

Im not too worried about it, like i said I have it all on my HD and
with my new cable modem that would just take a few minutes to upload
to a new address. The compainer did however cost all of you this
weeks update of Akuma to my new improved PDF sheets n stories
section. I'll be too busy moving my page over to a new location,
getting a redirection url and changing the links on my material to
bother with the update. Youll see him next weekend instead.

I propose we leave out the sections that are in EVERY white wolf

general etc..

where that section should be we can prompt the reader to go out and
buy a white wolf book to get the information.  This might improve
their image of us if sum1 at ww ever finds it posted.

we can also explain near the front that we did this and so this is
not a COMPLETE set of rules untill suplemented by buying some other
white wolf product. that should make them happy instead of having
them raise hell if they find their work duplicated.

Yes they should, but no they didn't. I think they actually have an anonymis
complaint system, so they may not have known who complained.

On a related note, it seems that workspot is shutting down it's web-page
service on either the twentieth or twenty-fifth, so I'll be moving to a new
place to.

My new URL (staredown.8m.net) is set up and I'm transfering files as I type
this message. With a little luck, a lot of work, and a bit of divine
intervention, it should be set up at the end of the day.

As both of them were mising legs. I need a whold boddy
picture. I am makeing a Sheet for krauser which will
be as close to how world warriors are presented in the

      Weeeell...lemme see...

Right now my big things are WitchCraft by Eden Studios, Street Fighter and
Marvel SAGA (now canceled by WotC). I'm getting into Aberrant more and
more, considering trying to round up the whole line of books. I'm also a
fan of Eden's other Unisystem game, All Flesh Must Be Eaten. That pretty
well rounds out my current favorites, though I own a few more games and I
      have played MANY more...

Well, my gang and I play a pretty wide hash of games -

      We're currently in a beaten-like-a-dead-horse D&D game
that's begging to be set down for a while, we've got my
Rifts game that I'm ending soon, and we've got a Werewolf
game that kind of floats around and gets run whenever
      people are available.

Outside this gang, I'm heavily into Immortal (Scrye can
lick my boots, Immortal is an awesome game once you
understand the system. Stick to first edition though, the
      second edition is positively wretched.)

We've got 2 streetfighter games coming up, one very near
the horizon, and one a bit further down the road, along
with a fresh D&D campaign run by a guy who's made a pretty
      wide assortment of house rules.

When I get a chance, I play Palladium Fantasy, Star Wars,
Vampire, Shadowrun, Ars Magica and Middle Earth. But that's
not too often, I usually wind up running them.

I gotta admit, I know jack and nothing about both Kult and
Alternity. What kind of setting do they have?

Well, I used to play Shadowrun 2nd Edition, but now I play 3rd. I would
like to play Ars Magica, but noone's capable of doing a proper campaign in
it for now. We have, like, three different D&D 3E campaigns going, I have
my very own Street Fighter: Tien Tao thing going, and I'm wondering about
doing something more than just dreaming about running a Space Master
      campaign.

It is probable that we'll do some MERP later on, as RMSS was too
complicated for the other people in my regular gaming group. We've just
rolled up characters for Star Wars d20, but I still think that the d6 Star
      Wars r0xx0rz. I did play AD&D 2nd Ed - in fact, I've had a few campaigns
there (but small ones - campaignettes?).

The Call of Cthulhu: Delta Green thingy seems to be on the back burner,
though. Annoying. One of my fav settings, in one of my fav systems. Oh,
      and there's always Buck Rogers.

      :-)

I run a DnD campaign for one (yes, count him - ONE) player. I have been trying to recruit players for any game at all, but with little luck. I live in a small town, so that's the way it goes.

I'll start very soon a Kult and a Alternity campaign... (two of my favorite
