I best say press 3 punches or 3 kicks I don´t remember but one of these he will make a Backflip and after press one punch (any) he will make a type of Rolling attack or is Vertical Rolling attack but I´m still think he have Rolling attack. Ground fight? this appears a Drunken monkey roll to me, but this just what I think.

Rinaldo Gambetta wrote:

Of course he is try use 3 kicks and after this one punch you see he have a Rolling attack (some type).
Steve Karstensen wrote:
He fights with Baton (stick), Grenades, and Knives.  He has several Kick techniques (backups for when he *is* disarmed, as any smart player would do).  He also uses Wall Spring and I would say Ground Fighting instead of Drunken Monkey Roll.  Never saw Rolento use a Rolling Attack while playing the Alpha series. The staff-balancing could either be a difficult Stunt or Balance if you chose to give Rolento a high Focus, which I would not do.

Yeah, the problem he only figh with that stick and not without and in the game is impossible to disarm him this may difficult to say if he known punch techniques, but I still thinking he figth another style, Special forces don´t have Rolling attack, Slide kick, I add other manuvers you can see backflip and Drunken monkey roll and that manuver what he avoid down manuvers (foot sweep and others) he jump and use the staff like a support and that quick jump isn´t a Balance?

Steve Karstensen wrote:

Nope, I have to say he's Special Forces... although not US Special Forces.
Probably more along the lines of Israeli Hisardut.  Definitely heavy on the
weapons training, whatever variant he uses.  I'd probably go with Special
Forces and a number of weapon techniques; his unarmed fighting style looks
like it pales in comparison to his weapons training, which can be learned
regardless of style.

I known Rolento is a Final fight enemy but nothing more someone have
more info and most important a style for him I don´t belive he fight
Special forces, because he have many different manuvers but only looking
I can see Rolling attack, Slide kick, Wall spring, A some kind of Rekka
ken (Patriotic Circle) a Ranged attack Knife throwning (Stinger), and
some short stick manuvers but I realy want known if someone made some
style for him, I trying to one for myself but If exist already made I
like to see it.

Tang Soo Do is a Korean martial art reminiscent of TaeKwon-Do
(i.e. kicks), and rather special punches (thrown with a straight arm in a
circular movement). If I'd make Tang Soo Do a StreetFighter style, I'd go
for a few punches and kicks (somewhere between Shotokan Karate [which I
use as a sort of 'baseline'] and boxing), possibly with a couple of the
kicks from the TaeKwon-Do style I made :) [shameless
self-plugging]. Obviously, I'd check with my 'Martial Arts Encyclopedia'
before I wrote any background on the style :) ...

Oh, and something entirely else - I think this is what, the fourth Korean
style known? There's TaeKwon-Do, Hapkido, Tang Soo Do, and possibly Taek
Kyon, the ancestor art of both Hapkido (to some extent) and TKD?

Perhaps I should write something about how each art *looks*, as opposed to
special maneuvers cost and so on.

Subject: Rose Info
A local magazine in Brazil created Rose info for SF: The Storytelling
Game.
The name of the magazine is: DragĆ£o Brasil RPG, they released the main
book
here and made a rpg version for SFZ3 (but it's not the same style of
SFTSG).
So, they published an adventure for 3D&T (SFZ3 style) and for SFTSG
style.
With this, they created Rose's Character Info.
To see it, go to:
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Cable/5578/RPG/Rose.jpg

Her fighting style is Soul Power, but it isn't a new style. It's a less
powerful version of Ler Drit.

My pupil finally created thorns. Ha, ha, ha!!!!

Another move is one of my favourites is that grab when he put a bomb collar on his poor enemy I think this gonna kill anyone but I belive he uses "weak" bombs they cause a lot of damage but not a killing damage, I just say if someone try create a manuver like this a damage for this is more higher than a spinning pilledriver.

My version of this:

The bomb gift:

Grab 5
Athletics 5 (I think to put a collar bomb in someone you must be much agile)

Speed -2
Damage +7/+1 extra die per fragments and +1 for fire in a total of +9.
Movement 1 and 2
System: Fighter must be already done a collar bomb and have it ready at hand next step is a Dexterity+Athletics of Target Vs Dexterity+Athletics of user in a positive result of user the collar is put and next just jump 2 hexes back of course push the security lock of bombs and Caboom!!! in a Botch case the user donĀ“t put the bomb
and lost the security lock he have a big problem in this case

I stop here but if someone have a Idea to help me in this move just tell me.

Relax Rinaldo. They are called "concussion grenades" and are non leathal,
<compared with FRAGMENTATION GRENADES>.
Police/Military use that as distraction techeniques to dissarm bad guys. At
close range they would burn or maim, but I doubt they'd kill. In the SF
world where the WW can take a hand full of bullets, and sleep pretty well at
night, the bombs will hurt a bit, but not much.
Rolento barely fights within the bounds of the Dulist rule....but if he were
using Frag Grenades<hand grenades> it would end up killing fighters, and no
one would ever EVER challeng him.

As far as your manuever, I shan't comment, as I usually paissivly protest
the use of Weapons, espiecaly firearms in the game.

Uhhh...., Josh, it displays the Biceps, and thighs measures pretty obviously
on the list.
Besides, 13/17cm, and 28cm is just like 5-7 inches....and 28 is just a shade
under a foot.

Maybe bracelet size? can't figure it out.......

I _used_ to be. Does that count? Nothing more than a 3rd gup in ITF
TaeKwon-Do, however :) ... Intense studying of Wuxia films has done the
rest, coupled with a bit of reading in works such as HERO Ninja Hero, HERO
The Complete Martial Artist, a couple of martial arts books I have in my
bookshelf, GURPS China, GURPS Martial Arts (<- This one's the best!), and
a lifetime fascination. I really should start training again, so that I
could get my black belt in three-four years' time (figure a couple of
years to get my techniques back, and then figure a couple of years to
black belt), because a black belt is just _so_ much cooler than saying "I
am a blue belt with red stripe in ITF TKD, so just you watch out."

Or something like that. :)

If you acept Brawling, I could say a positive response, is not beautiful and don´t have many resourses but it save my ass many times, you always can count with that groing kick when the things going bad (If I a STF fighter my honor box would be 0 with sure- no I´m not a bad person but in a fight it´s me or him you known what I want say no?)

The Wrestling style from Contenders covers professional wrestling. However,
I think a lot of the flashier grabs and attacks would be too difficult to
pull off against a combat-ready opponent.

I concurr... as devestating as some pro-wrestling moves would be, most woudl
require active PARTICPATION on the part of the victim. Others woudl just be
akward and slow, or easily avoidable.

Wrestling does include former pro wrestlers, as Hugo the WW himself was a
pro wrestler. Keep in mind that a lot of the manevuers that are common in
Wrestling can indeed be found in the the game: If read, the system of "Back
beaker" turns out to be a power bomb, and "Face Slam" could well be
concidered one of the Choke Slam Techniques. Pile Drive is of course stright
up thier as a manuever. The only move that i might have lost love over, and
wanted to see in the RPG would be DDT, or a variation. In Street Fighter 3,
third strike Alex has a "Spiral DDT" looks like it hurts.....LOTS.

I was just about to say myself that a lot of the Pro wrestling maneuvers are
just variants on existing moves. For example, when I converted Tina over
from Dead or Alive, I was able to condense about ten of her throws into Back
Breaker, Pile Driver, and Suplex. I just describe 'em different when she
does 'em. ;)

Say, there's something I've always wondered about. Was it hard, starting
to train Capoeira? I mean, I do know Wesley Snipes is originally a
capoeirista, but I've never seen him doing the ginga or anything else
vaguely Capoeira. Sure, he jumps around a lot, and kicks a bit, but I've
never guessed him for being a capoeirista. Strange.

Anyways (I got a bit off-topic), I just wondered about the ginga, because
I trained for four years or so TKD (but y'all knew that, didn't you?), and
I just tried to emulate Eddie (in T3) for a while, but I just couldn't get
my feet shuffled right. (Oh, and Hwoarang's kicks are _beautiful_. I once
knew how to do the pattern that Hwoarang does in the intro :) ... And all
that handstanding and backflips...

I think I have some sort of Wrestling style on my homepage. Its table is
at http://www.pvv.org/~leirbakk/streetfighter/amerwres_tbl.html ... I
haven't translated the flavour notes on it yet, sorry :)

No....addmittedly enought Mike haggar was indeed a wrestler. As were a few
others that I'm not really familiar with. The Capcom game Saturday night
Slam masters, included <I believe> Mike Haggar, Birdie, and a few others.
THis was a short lived Wrestling game.

As far as Hugo goes... yes Rinaldo your suspicions are correct. In SF3:TSFF
his full name reads Hugo Andore Jr. and he is from the final fight series
originaly. He's about 7'8" <240 cm> and a bit more that 440 lbs <200Kg>. Big
man...He comes out with his manager Poison <also for Final Fight>
Specializes in the Flying 360 moonsault press.

ah. can you tell I haven't played Street Fighter 3 like, ever?

I loved Slam Masters. I used to play The Magnificent Oni, or whatever the
heck his name was. Anyone notice Honda sitting in the front row and taking
up like two seats? Chun Li was supposedly in the audience too, but I never
saw her. She's sitting in a village eatery in the Hong Kong stage of Final

Sorry about that...the first poll somehow got sent, althogut I did nothing
to indicate that i was finished writing it..

As to the second one, well....when you said that you haven't really played
SF3, I got to wondering how many people that play the RPG also play the Vid
game...

It was a BRILLIANT IDEA!!!!

Subject: Re: Dark Streets turn 7 (foreshadowing Jean Paul)
Creeping upon the rooftops of the old warehouses was Sago's idea. Not that
Sammi thought he knew exactly what he was doing. These old roofs were less
than strong, and one wrong move could send any of them falling down to the
inside of one of these places. A long drop. Maybe 60 feet. Luckily, Sammi's
uncle used to take her hunting, camping and climbing, and so she had a
survival skill or two. Not to mention her trained athletics.
She sighed. Who's idea was it to let this kid tag along? That didn't
really sit well with Sammi. The kid could get hurt. She didn't remember
arguing the point though. Too late now.
"Hey kid, isn't it past your bedtime? I mean, aren't your parents gonna be
kinda worried?"
Ryuu smiled broadly. "Nope. I told them I was going over to Henry's house
so I could see the fight."
-------
Ryuu liked climbing on the rooftops. It wasn't hard. He was small and very
light, and the roof supported him easily.
He like his friend Henery. He reminded him alot of Himiko. Henery always
looked out after Ryuu, made sure none of the other kids picked on him. Not
that Henry had ever got into a fight, he just made sure to tell everyone how
cool Ryuu was, and because Henry was so cool, everyone just beleived it.
Ryuu didn't know if he was "cool" or not, but he liked Henry. He though he
was very cool.
Ryuu thought his new friends were great, also, going out of thier way to
help these kids, not to mention letting him tag along. He made sure to tell
Sago as he was about to step through a large hole in the roof, although he
was sure that Sago had seen it anyway. These guys were professionals.
-------
Sago swallowed. Was it his idea to come up here? If that kid had never
told him about that hole he was about to step into, there wouldn't be much
left of him after falling the distance from where he was to the ground.
Still, he tried to play it off as if he saw the hole and thought he did a
pretty good job of it. Everyone seemed to be making it across the roof with
less trouble as he reached the edge. Now it was time to see if there was
anything to be seen.
Sago's "help" would be here soon, but mabye not soon enough. A force
needed to be gathered together without the use of the police. Greg said he
would be sending help as quick as possible. Pretty vauge. Sago decided that
he best try to sort this thing out himself before Shark could dump his
"experiments" into the river.
He unclasped his boot, and took out an extremely small package, about half
the size of a pack of cigerettes. At the touch of a button, the tiny object
"unfolded" itself, turning into a set of mini binoculars. At the tough of a
button, Sago looked into the infrared spectrum. He spotted two men outside.
Through the window he also saw what appeared to be a man floating in some
sort of liquid that covered his entire body. Some sort of holding tank. Sago
had heard reports that Pentex had designed such tanks to hold animals in
suspended animation, but it was not supposed to have ever been used on human
subjects. But tis wasn't a kid, it was an adult. Strange. However, from here
he could se only a small fraction of the inside of the wharehouse.
-------
Eric was used to old rooftops. His old apartment was on one, and he liked
hanging outside playing his guitar at night. Or used to like it anyway. He
noticed that Sago was trying to see more of the area.
Sending his crow into the night, he waited. fter a moment or two, he saw
the crow return and land on his shoulder. It cawed to him and made a few
more chirping sounds.
"There is one guard n the back of the wharehouse, armed with a handgun.
There is another way in there."
-------
Sago looked up from his binoculars. "There are two guards down there, and
it looks like it leads straight into the area with the kids, mabye. We could
go straight in, but those guards are armed with Mark V automatic laser
rifles. If we go around to the back, we could get in easier, but we don't
know what kind of opposition we'd get before getting to the kids. What do
you guys think?"
-------
Storyteller to players: The characters are faced with a tough choice.
Please discuss what you are thinking and your character's opinions under the
subject heading of "Turn 7 decision" until you agree upon a course of
action. feel free to ask the Storyteller (me) any questions about the area
as well.
At this point all characters receive 1 experience point.
